I usually stroll in for drinks, but have eaten here during televised rugby matches. The food is good, if typical, Irish pub grub. The drinks are well made and priced well. Staff is always friendly, as are the patrons. They have live Irish music and trivia nights as well.

I have gone to the Heritage Diner before, but never for dinner. Of course, I still got the breakfast menu. Big plus that they have it through out the day! Waitress was very attentive and took our orders quickly. However, the food took a long time to come. No wait either, which I was confused about. Anyway, the wait was definitely worth it. I ordered the two eggs your way scrambled, with hash browns and a sausage. I also ordered a vanilla egg cream soda. Absolutely delicious! About the main course; it was amazing but they give a generous portion. Usually that’s a plus, but I would not recommend it if you wanted to have a light meal, which I did. I had lots left over on my plate. As for price, I think it perfectly matched the quantity and quality.
For the meal, I give a 80% for the service, I give 90% and for the restaurant, I give a 100% Overall the best diner I’ve been to and one of the best restaurants as well

Had to flag the waitress down so we can get our order in. She had an attitude. Gave her benefit of the doubt. Maybe she had a bad day?
Food was eh… got a burger. Someone forgot to season it.
The saving grace was the décor. Clean, bright, and comfortable. May try it again, probably went on an off day.

We used to love this place, every Sunday brunch we were there. The last few months have been really bad, a bus boy with a bad attitude, unfriendly he gives you their delicious Irish soda bread when he wants to if at all. The tables are sticky and seats covered in crumbs. The wait staff otherwise is brilliant. The food has been getting worse and worse. Who knew that there were that many small left over bits of steak fries at the bottom of the barrel to serve day in and day out, not to mention all the grease that came with them. A simple burger and an Irish breakfast, I didn’t think you could mess that up… some how they managed to. I really hope they get it together. We will try their other place this weekend next door hoping it also hasn’t gone down hill

We had our daughter’s Baptism party in the party room downstairs with about 35 guests and it was spectacular! Eileen and her staff did a beautiful job decorating the room and the food was out of this world. Everyone from the very young to the young at heart had a great time. Eileen took time out of her busy day to make sure my husband and I were happy with the food and the way the room looked and really took care of us. Orla (a member of Eileen’s staff) spoiled us and was so helpful and kind to our younger guests. We will always recommend The Heritage to our friends for party locations as well as a place to go for a great meal.

Last night ate at The Heritage for dinner and it was an amazing experience, the atmosphere was comforting, the food was incredible, the service was very good and Eileen, the owner, was so sweet and truly a pleasure to speak with. Highly recommend going here as we can’t wait to come back !

The Heritage Bar & Restaurant was the venue of our Annual Nursing Management party this year. Thanks to our Director and Admin secretary for choosing this place .The party last night was great. As I entered the function room @ the basement, I was amazed! Eileen, the chef, culinary artist & owner is superb! The room décor was simple yet very elegant. It set the tone of the party. We didn’t have to sweat for décor. All we had to do was to enjoy the night! It was fun!
The food served was delicious ! Overall — service, food, place: 5 stars. Eileen, 5+ stars!
This place is highly recommended. Would definitely go back.

My brother and his wife had their wedding reception at The Heritage. It was the venue’s first and they did a fabulous job! The staff was welcoming, helpful and extremely obliging. Thw food was very good. The owner, Eileen, was amazing.
The room was beautifully decorated for the occasion. They had taken the design of the invitations and made the menus to match to the point that the woman who had made the invitations was asked if she did the menus too.
Most impressive was how flexible Eileen and her staff were when it was determined that 6 people had arrived unexpectedly and they brought out an additional table and settings and moved the original setup to accommodate.
Highly recommend them and we will returned to sample Eileen ’ s delicious cuisine again!

Traditional fare and bar food are definitely in their wheelhouse.
Has a kids menu too.
They have a back room that can handle an easy 25+ heads.

The Heritage is always one of my go to’s when I am looking for a good dinner or an Irish breakfast in my neighborhood. The staff is always friendly and food always delicious with a lot of variety on the menu.
My parents just hosted an engagement party for myself and my fiancé in the downstairs party room of the Heritage. Eileen was super helpful in setting this up and overseeing the party. The room looked great, buffet was awesome, drinks flowing and everyone had a great time! Everything came together perfectly and I couldn’t have been happier. Definitely check out the Heritage!

I know the heritage as a great place for a pint and some irish fare. It is easily the best place for food on mclean ave.
I just had a birthday party for my grandmother in the downstairs party room and I couldn’t be happier. The food was excellent. We had our own bar and bartender. We did it buffet style and the food was really great. People raved about the salmon and shepard’s pie. I loved the sausage rolls!
Eileen was there overseeing everything and she knows how to run a business. Very cute decorations and set up in an adorable party room downstairs.

I admittedly have an allegiance to Rory’s down the block, but this is right across the street from my wife’s store so why not. The menu is enticing and varied and I found the food to be very good. Irish sausage wrapped in puff pastry was not something I have ever seen before and I loved it. Looking forward to trying other things on the menu. Beer selection is ok, not great. Nice atmosphere.

I like this place. They have good people, good music, and a great atmosphere. Their beers aren’t half bad either. I don’t really like their food though. I got the baked salmon with the mashed potatoes and vegetables but I found most of it rather tasteless. Their mashed potatoes were yummy enough. I did like the live music (even though it was a little too loud for me) and the people were friendly. The parking is street parking but that’s because of the location. I would come back here to just hang out with friends and to listen to the music.
