Dyeables

The owner of Dyeables was wonderful to work with!!! I came in with a pair of white Paris Hitlon heels for my wedding that I needed to dye champagne, and he pulled out books of swatches for my to choose from. The color turned out PERFECT!!! It was 100% worth the $ 35.

I’d honestly give this place 0 stars if I could.
I purchased a pair of shoes on
and needed to have them dyed. A store nearby recommended this shop for the dyeing service. I walked in and the owner walked me through the color I’d like to dye it and then said, «Did you buy the shoes here?» to which I replied, «No, I bought them online.» He proceeded to tell me that I may not want to have them dyed there after I found out the cost which was… gasp…$ 35! I paid $ 45 for the shoes themselves! I was, of course, shocked (as he knew I would be…) and then I told him there was a website (
) which offered the same service for $ 15, which included shipping. I didn’t understand how he could charge $ 20 more than that. He responded by saying that the website doesn’t have to pay $ 3,000 in rent. In any case, in this man’s effort to rip me off, he lost a customer.
I wish him all the best in paying his rent for many months to come, because with that attitude, I have no idea how he is still in business.
