China Inn

This is my go to Chinese spot! I drive all the way from North Yonkers just for their food! There are no good Chinese restaurants around me especially since I don’t care for the usual fast hood spots that seem to pop up everywhere. Growing up I got used to going to actual Chinese restaurants where you sit down, eat noodles with duck sauce, drink some hot tea and eat some good Chinese food including the fried rice with the egg and that’s what you get from China Inn. I love their food!

Horrible restaurant, horrible food, horrible service.

Let me tell you about China Inn! I was on my way home a couple of months ago from visiting my pops in Yonkers. I was pretty hungry and decided to hit White Castle on Main Street and when I drove by here, I had to park and walk in.
You want to talk about fusion? Let’s talk about China Inn that serves Hispanic & Chinese food. This menu is bananas people. I can get won-​tons and plantains in the same spot? I don’t even need a reason.
I got some egg rolls, won-​ton soup and pernil with yellow rice and beans. The restaurant was buzzing on a Sunday afternoon and there are tables a plenty. Even though I got take out, the food came quick and as I was watching people coming in to sit and eat, they got their food pretty quick as well.
I SERIOUSLY suggest giving this place a chance. The Latin-​Asian fusion is by far my favorite cuisine and I’m still hurting from the closing of my beloved Bayamo in NoHo. (You’ve been gone since 2002 and I miss you bad…*slow dance music in the background*)
China Inn needs some love. Shake your ass there already!
