Good prices, excellent quality, excellent service! They have an excellent assortment of products for a small shop, and the quality is great for the price. Besides Irish meats, their pre-made sirloin burgers are the best. Ribs, boiling bacon, etc. are top notch. Cold salads are perfect for this time of year, and it is a good place if you want to pick up something quick for«take out.» One of my favorites!

I’ve been here three or four times over the years. It’s definitely the place to go to assemble your meats for an Irish breakfast, black and white puddings, rasher, bangers, brown sauce. The other meats are good quality for the price, but keep in mind this is a mid-range neighborhood butcher, not a place to snag prime steakhouse cuts. I went with some good looking shoulder lamb chops on my last visit. There are also cooked dishes and sausage rolls available for takeout, which I have yet to sample as I usually combine a visit here with a meal at the Irish Coffee Shop. Service is friendly, even if you’re not from Woodlawn.

Picked up a couple of lbs of fresh Irish sausage and a dozen sausage rolls for a great weekend of traditional cooking. You cannot beat the prices and freshness of all the items for sale. Very clean and staff on hand are very professional. Will now travel out of my way to return.

When I got home I found that my ribs smelled bad, were half dried and had holes in it.

DON’T buy the steak and kidney pie. loaded with msg and very little of the other. however, great puff pastry which I suspect was frozen-bought. friendly butcher. breakfast sausages are so-so. I like the guy but I wish I could say better.

My go to spot for a great selection of Irish/British fare, clean and very friendly service. The owner and his guys behind the counter are pleasant and always make me feel welcome. When I’m in the area, I make it a point to get my Irish butter, sausage rolls, bangers(the large ones, not the skinny links), my Ribena, when I run out of that sweet blackcurrant syrup, my Flake bars, to stick in a vanilla soft serve cone,(you would have to have spent sometime across the pond to know this), and whatever else that catches my fancy. So now that I am thoroughly stocked with some of the flavors of my youth, I start to make my English breakfast of Bangers, Heinz Baked Beans(the vegetarian kind), 2 fried eggs with crisp edges(yes, crisp brown edges on the egg whites are a must) and buttered toast, with a cup of Tetley’s tea… Yummy…this meal brings back a lot of memories… love it! Thank you Butchers Fancy for helping me to recreate a fabulous meal!

This is my go-to Irish butcher. About twice a month I drive from Central Westchester to pick up Irish sausages, rashers, black/white pudding. I love this place. The area is quaint, yet bustling. Irish themed stores and restaurants line the entire strip. I always find metered street parking outside the butcher shop and the meters give you 10 minutes free if you are just running in and out. Butcher’s Fancy offers all the staples you need for a nice irish meal. Everything from Irish sausages to homemade pot pie, pork/lamb chops and gravy mixes. I usually get the sausages/rashers/puddings and they are all excellent. I love that the sausages are not overly greasy and FULL of flavor. Same goes for the rashers and puddings. Love the ground beef and chicken breasts — fresh and flavorful. Prices are competitive with what you would expect(sausages @ $ 5.99/lb and pudding @ $ 5.99/lb). I will definitely be using Butcher’s Fancy for my next Sunday roast — I cannot wait to try their other meats. Always very friendly and welcoming to me and my daughter when we go.

Great quality butcher! I buy my steaks here for grilling, tasty sirloin with delicious seasoning upon request. Always fresh! Tasty homemade rashers, bangers, boiling bacon etc. and prepared foods too. Friendly atmosphere, family business.

Homemade sausages and all sort of goodies. But the real reason to come is the Scotch Eggs! The ultimate in comfort(or hangover) food. A hardboiled egg, covered in sausage, and then fried. it is a whole meal and will satisfy every salty, fatty, and greasy craving you have all at once.
