Worth the stop. Got a blueberry pie that was sweetened nicely and had a flaky crust. Only negative would be there weren’t many pies to choose from(maybe they sell out early, although we stopped by 11am).

Very good place to stop by on the way to Charleston. Fresh pies and good cider. We picked up raspberry cobbler that had an amazing bottom crust, like a shortbread. Pecan pie, mini one, also delicious. Everything made from scratch with local ingredients. A lot of pickled vegetables and jams. Fried peanuts. So much in a tiny store. If I didn’t fly to get to the East Coast, I would have bought several boxes of stuff. Thank goodness they deliver«almost» anything.

This place is a great place to stop when you’re traveling up or down I-95. This is such a cute store! Lots of great things to choose from here! They specialize in Cider. Lots of different flavors to pick from. They also offer different kinds of jams, pickled okra, grits, cookies, chips… you name it… they got it. It’s like a specialty country store. BUT…the reason I started stopping here… and the reason I keep returning… is the Pecan Pie! It’s amazing! It was featured in Southern Living Magazine. It’s not too sweet, it’s just right. It’s absolutely the best Pecan Pie in the Universe! You just have to try it. Usually I call ahead to have them hold me one, because they will sell out. They also sell mini Pecan Pies too, but you’ll definitely want to get the big one. They’re just too good to resist. I always have to get the fried peanuts too. They are addicting. You might want to get 2 bags especially if you have to share. They have very friendly people working here also. I’m always greeted with a smile from the sales clerk. It’s a good place to stop and stretch your legs while traveling. Of course, you’ll definitely be buying something in there because everything is just too good to resist.

A «must stop» each and every time we drive I95. Authentic Southern treats in a beautiful country store setting. I also recommend stopping for a visit at the Frampton Plantation down the street. Don’t miss out on their cider and benne wafers

What a fun little surprise! Practically in the middle of no where, but well worth the stop. Cashier was so sweet, told us about the different ciders, and provided taste tests. Also had samples of other goodies. We ate fried peanuts for the first time ever — just eat the whole thing, shell and all. Was actually pretty good! We went home with several large bottles of cider and will definitely stop in again when in the area!

If you are driving through South Carolina, you gotta drop by this place! We saw signs and billboards along the road, and on a whim — we decided to go for it. Cute little location with a rocking chairs in the front and what not. Great service, walked through the door and the cashier was very hospitable in sharing about the history of place as well as dishing out samples. They have like a billion different kinds of ciders(okay, I’m exaggerating a bit, but it was great) We bought three things: 1) Baby peach crisp — peaches were in season in the south, and we were so glad that we went for it because it was so fresh, sweet, and filled with flavor! YUMMY! 2) Peach cider — we tried many different ciders and I was torn between the strawberry cider, but as mentioned before — peaches were in season, so get em’ while they’re hot. 3) Blackberry jam — my pastry chef of a GF tried it and went berserk! Sweet, tart and taste absolutely no preservatives. A great experience!

Another great place for a quick rest stop traveling along I-95 and to get some take home goodies. Located at Exit 33 in SC. You have to try the fried peanuts(eat the whole peanut pod with shell on). They are very delicious & probably good fiber also. The pecan pie is highly rated by Southen Living Magazine.

Great place to stop to get anything you might need, from cider to grits to cookbooks to sweet potato butter. Lots of dry ingredients and handmade goods. Fresh pie was to die for. I had a whole small one.

This old country store is a must-stop to check out an amazing variety of delicious local Low Country south carolina treats if you are in the area, very close to I-95. I got some of the pecan pie, the peach cider, and the cajun fried peanuts(eat them with the shell) all are wonderful… I think the pie is actually made with lard rather than butter, leave your ideas about«healthiness» outside in your car when you walk in. but it is delicious. they have another location a little further down the road on US Hwy 17. the young man working when I walked in was very knowledgeable about the products and about the interesting history of the country store… store has all kinds of other tasty looking local products(honey, many other kinds of pie, several cider varieties, various gift items, books, all kinds of stuff.). they also serve a couple types of hot food(some soup or something) and coffee.
