Emma’s Grill House

We had a board meeting here for my daughters fastpitch team a couple of months ago. The food was really good. I had a steak with mashed potatoes, veggies and salad. My husband had a sandwich and we had two drinks. I think my bill was close to $ 20
The service was great. They knew we were having a meeting and they left us alone while still checking on us to make sure that there was not anyone in need of anything.
The food was delicious and I kinda wish I had the time to drive an hour out there tonight so I could have one but I have to work.
The atmosphere was great. We had a cozy room in the back that worked perfectly for our use. As a matter of fact I reserved it for my daughters birthday but the guest list exceeded the maximum occupancy and we had to change venues.
The location is beautiful. I mean who doesn’t want to eat on a golf course with their great prices! Thank you!

I was there tonight for my precious nephews wedding. The venue was BEAUTIFUL, and spot on. The wait staff was conscientious and helpful, and very attentive. The food and drinks were AMAZING! The food is bar none, the best American cuisine in Yelm. If you want FANTASTIC burgers, wings, fries, onion rings, fried chicken, and the BEST STEAKS IN TOWN there is no other place to go. And, HEY, they have a GREAT ambiance and view. What more could you want? Great prices? Oh Yeah they also have the most reasonable pries in town, as well! Thank you all so much for making my nephews wedding such a RAGGING success!!! I saw mostly nice reviews for this place. There were a few unhappy people. From my experience, as it has been some time since those reviews, I encourage those people to give the place another try! I am NOT saying they didn’t have valid concerns, I am just saying, I think the staff LISTENED when those concerns were made, and they have made some HUGE strides towards a great future. I also want to say, thanks to the people who tell the whole truth to make better restaurants for the public! Thanks Unilocalers!

This is my favorite place in Yelm. It’s the only place in Yelm to get a steak & it’s better than most steak houses I’ve been to. Their prices are amazing & service is great.

Quite the place! Great food at a good price. Coated French fries are nice. A huge chicken breast and two pieces of pineapple on my aloha chicken sandwich.

I have special dietary needs and they were very accommodating. They went out of their way to prep a dish for me, and they were pleasant about doing so. The food tasted great.
They have four TV’s and a bar, regular tables and pub tables. The view is of the golf course.
I enjoyed my visit. I’ll be back.

The food is soooo good! Prices are the best in town. New York Steak! And so much more. Mmmmm and their Bartender is awesome! This is the place to go to if you don’t feel like Mexican food in Yelm. Located at the Yelm Golf course this place has recently gain more popularity as we had to wait to be seated! I knew this place was going to take off.

Love Emm’s! Best steaks in town! All of the food has been outstanding, we are never disappointed! The drink and dinner specials are also fantastic! We tell every one we know to try emma’s.

Love the ribeye and mashed potatoes. With nearly a full bar, fun drinks and even breakfast, this is one of my new favorite Yelm restaurants!

Disappointed. This would be 0 stars if that was possible. Went in last night for dinner but left after waiting nearly 30 minutes without the server even acknowledging our presence. He walked right past us multiple times to bring drinks and take the food order from the table next to us. Went so far as to plop the empty drink tray at the other end of our table without so much as a glance in our direction. I could have killed some time by grabbing a bus tub and clearing all the dirty tables, one of which we were sitting at because there were no clean tables when we arrived. I understand if you’re busy but at least greet the customer and explain you’ll be delayed. A little better training and a little more staff and you won’t get horrible reviews like this.
On the plus side, Eric the bartender is an all star. The few times I’ve been in and sat at the bar I received prompt, top flight service. Great food, cold beer. Not fair to saddle a big league barman with a little league server.

Definitely one of my husband & I favorite place in yelm to eat! The atmosphere is great (we love sitting outside on beautiful days) the eggs Benedict on Sunday’s is amazing! The steak is so tender, and have really good buffalo chicken wings as appetizer! Friendly staff and very reasonable pricing!

Great steak cooked perfectly. Very nice salad. Pasta was a little dry could’ve used more sauce, but was good shrimp cooked beautiful. Also great cocktails

Nice place small but open like a school cafeteria. Odd décor. I would have expected nicer uniforms for the employees since it is at the country club. I had the fly by chicken breast which was good tender juicy but their choice of vegetable was strips of green pepper and onion I would have preferred an actual vegetable like broccoli carrots cauliflower etc. It also came with mashed potatoes which weren’t available until 4 o’clock so they substituted fried potatoes which were good. My guy had the chicken fried steak. He said it was good ⁷⁄₁₀ but didn’t like the fries. All in all not bad but since it wasn’t anything special, we probably won’t be back. Prices were reasonable. They might want to think about a «leader», something really delicious like outdoor BBQ to get people to want to come back!

A very delicious Cheeseburger for $ 6.95! I asked for a salad instead of the fries. It was a great idea. It was fresh romain lettuce bed with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and a nice sprinkle of cheddar cheese and a nice surprise of freshly prepared bacon bits! I had asked for an Italian style dressing, which was fresh and tasty addition to said salad…
The burger was on a non-​traditional bun which was tastier than just a seeded bun. The hamburger patty was nice, thick, juicy, and made from fresh, not frozen, meat!

My husband and I visited on a Tuesday evening for dinner. The dining room is very open and airy, great views of the golf course. We were greeted by a really friendly waiter who was prompt and awesome. I had the herbed chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables, my husband had the steak with potatoes and vegetables (asparagus that night). Everything was tasty, the mashed potatoes had cheese and deliciousness mixed right in. My chicken was cooked perfectly and his steak was spot on medium rare. The price was great and we will be back.
One thing I did notice was a lot of typos on the menu — something for the owner/​manager to review before printing next time :)

Big Portions great food and friendly staff. The Ribeye steak was very good and the chicken fried steak is enough for two. This place was pretty good when it first opened but has gotten even better. Nice

Good prices, great steak, tv, and friendly staff. Had both steaks and both were great! Closes at 8 and we walked in right at 8 not knowing and they served us anyways. Funny that the other comment said they wouldn’t serve the food to the dog because we got a side hot dog just for our pup. And yes we took a bite, we thought that it’d be a great place to grab hot dogs to sneak into the theater! Nomnom! You should try it even if you just want a beer and some peace and quiet.

So happy about the new restaurant in Yelm! Just what we needed. Super friendly service, very affordable ($ 13 rib eye), and the food was prepared with the quality of any great steakhouse. Will definitely come back and bring family and friends! Our server, Frankie, was a big part of our great experience.

We have been here twice now since their grand opening and all I can say is WOW! A great atmosphere with a great view of the golf course. The food is EXCELLENT. I recommend the Onion Pedals as an Appetizer. The burgers are fresh made and are incredible. The fries are crisp and tasty. One or second visit I ordered the steak medium rare with garlic mashed potatoes. The potatoes were delicious and the steak was perfectly cooked-​tender and juicy. The prices are also very very good for food of this quality. I love what they have done and when word gets around about how good it is, this is going to be a crowded place to have dinner!

This place was so good! Prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious. So nice to know we have a great place to go to now right near our house. We will definitely be back!
