Anthony’s Dry Cleaners & Laundromat

I did my laundry here. It was quick and easy! (Big dryer #2 was the hottest.) Anthony’s was clean, neat, and easy to use.

Dry cleaners: like Mexican food in Maine, they seem to be few and far between. Maybe it’s because I don’t live in Portland, but there seems to be a dry cleaner shortage in this state. Before moving here, I was at my dry cleaner’s 2 – 3 times a week. We were on a first name basis. She gave me a present when my son was born. We definitely went out more, wore more dry clean only clothes, and lived 2 minutes away. But here I live 15 – 20 minutes from the closest dry cleaner. It seems crazy. Anthony’s is close to my work and thus has won my heart. They are not the fastest (but I’ve learned that Maine works at a Maine pace). You just have to embrace that you might have a 5 day turn around time instead of next day. Maybe that’s an option and I probably should ask in case I need something in a hurry. But my clothes came back clean and the cost was reasonable. I can’t ask for much more.
