This is a great way to float the river! You have camping, tubes, transportation provided for about $ 25 a person and no one has to worry about driving after drinking on the river all day. The camp spots are not really the nicest and the porta patties are porta potties but the price is right. Tips: 1. Float on a tube the river can have a lot of current and large floaty devices and rafts are a lot more likely to get snagged on a log or cliff wall and get sucked under. I’ve had people complain about having close calls while floating on a 12’x12’ square and getting sucked into the cliff wall… you’re on a 12’x12’ not easy to manuvere square with 8 other idiots that aren’t paying attention or paddling what do you expect… 2. Don’t invite idiots or people that can’t handle their booze as they will ruin the trip by getting off in the wrong spot, passing out on their tubes, drowning or basically just doing stuff idiots and lushes do. 3. Don’t drive after floating there are a ton of sheriffs and they would be happy to take a $ 10K Wa state tax donation from you if you get pulled over, oh ya and its unsafe. Paying attention to tip #2 can keep this from happening. 4. Stay together as much as possible when floating the river, I’ve had multiple trips cut short because someone got to far behind, and we thought they were in trouble, stopped the trip and went back to look for them finding them passed out on the back of a pick up truck. Paying attention to tip #2 can keep this from happening. 5. Don’t drink to the point that you can’t swim or paddle, the river current doesn’t care if you have to see the end of The Bachelor next week. I don’t either but I do care if you drown. Paying attention to tip #2 can keep this from happening. 6. Don’t be an asshole! Littering, yelling at strangers, squirting strangers with water, passing out, getting a DUI and drowning are all things that will make you an asshole and ruin the rest of our days. Paying attention to tip #2 can keep this from happening. 7. Bring cash and be on time when the bus leaves, there is no atm and the bus leaves when they say it does. 8. Drink water, apply sunscreen, bring food, put electronics in a waterproof bag, follow tips 1 – 7 explicitly and you will have a blast :)

For my first time floating the river, I had a really great time. I went with four other friends, and our cooler had it’s own tube also. While most of us had a fantastic time, a couple did not. We were all beginner floaters and didn’t realize how strong the current was in the river. If you’re a beginner(and can’t swim obviously), I would recommend wearing a life vest and NOT jumping into the river. There are lots of(sharp) rocks. I would also recommend bringing paddles, because those are not provided. When we would start floating towards the shrubs or rocks along the river we would have to start kicking with our feet to move away. I would completely do it again!

Stef is the best. Super affordable. $ 20 a person and only a few bucks for additional tubes for coolers, trash, dogs etc. About a 2.5 hr float but the river was running fast. Really well maintained grounds with porta-pottys, free parking and camping if you want. Even the dogs enjoyed the float. I will definitely be back. Ps. Stef also turned up the radio real loud for us in the shuttle so we could have a drunk sing-along. What a gem!

This business offers a legit deal. $ 20/person gets you a tube rental and a shuttle back. It’s a fun & relaxing float that takes between 2.5−3 hrs. I recommend.

Heading up The Canyon road, turn left into their private access spot before Umptanum. 2 of us got 2 tubes(deluxe with pockets, cup holders and backrests), a dry bag for our gear, a cooler, and another tube to hold our things and double as a footrest. We parked for free… floated 4.5 hours to Roza where we were picked up and shuttled back to our car. $ 49 for the 2 of us! The owner was a really cool, nice guy just living the good life on the river. Best prices on the river!
