I like this place, kinda surprising that they dont have any sports teams anymore(Sun Kings and Bears are no longer playing here) If your into Fresh locally grown produce, then you have to come to Yakima! Plenty of Fruit stands selling local produce at good prices around town! In regards food offerings– they have bunch of good places to eat, including one that had cool commercials(Sea Galley– we have crab legs, Sea Galley!) I’ve been through both Yakima plenty of times, and I have been through Palm Springs, CA and have to agree with that sign lol

Gotta give it to them, this sign is Yakima. Memorable, bizarre, and oddly just the right touch.

Surely the Rat Pack took trips to Yakima, WA. That’s the only way someone could have come up with the connection: Yakima = Palm Springs. Regardless, Yakima is its own beast. It’s located just below the Cascades and just downriver from the beautiful Yakima River Canyon. It is centrally located in the rectangle we lovingly call Washington. For me, Yakima(aka«Crackima») is a nice place to take a break if you’re coming home from hiking. It’s a small town with Palm Springs aspirations(is this really a good thing??).
