I truly wish I had a better choice for a provider. I have been with Washington Broadband for 14 or so years and have never really been happy. They call themselves a provider but they rarely provide me with the speeds for which I pay. Calls to after-hours tech support never result in a solution and I am passed up the tech-support chain with a promise of a return call. That call has NEVER come. I have to wait, with almost non-existent Internet service, until the following morning. At that point, a tech(or Forbes Mercy himself) will do something which results in a drastic improvement in service. Alas, the improvement rarely lasts more than a few days and I’m back in the cycle of calling for help when there is none. Perhaps, after all the excuses are resolved, this review can be updated. I can only hope I have to opportunity to do so. Perhaps I’ll check out this PocketInet other reviewers have mentioned.

Apparently Unilocal doesn’t care about accuracy. I emailed them saying that«Owen» who gave Washington Broadband was likely PocketINet employees as we have never had a customer with the name Owen. It’s sad that A) Competitors have to be so unethical to write degrading reviews and, B) Unilocal isn’t interested in clearing up counter complaints that prove to be false.

Buyer beware. I never got advertised speeds. Had a terrible experience and switched to PocketINet, which was friendly and reliable. P. S. I was a real customer who remains glad he switched from Washingtonbroadband to PocketInet. The owner’s belligerent response here is a good indication of how customers are handled.

horrible service, always pay my bill on time and they never resolve any of my connection issues. Seems to always work fine until they close for the night. And tech support? Yeah right! stick with your cable connections and sometimes dialup is better than this. AS I speak I have to connect via my work phone internet because the internet is out once the sun goes down! If the winds blowing? forget it. might as well pick up a book and do something else because the net won’t be back on until they get in for the day!
