Papa John’s Pizza

Hands down the worst pizza place in Yakima. I put in a complaint about the pizza I received and they never even got back to me to remedy the situation. Horrible customer service.

As far as quick to-​go pizzas places go, this place rocks. Ordered online, super easy. Walked in and was immediately greeted by a gentleman making pizzas. Even if you’re busy, a greeting is important and tells me right away how the place is going to be; customer oriented. The wait was short and I got my meal for a steal with a coupon. In addition, you walk in an immediately notice it is well kept. The floors were extremely clean — I got there at opening which shows me they mop every night. You can see the whole kitchen which is also clean. Also the staff’s conversation was only about pizza, not how hammered they are getting this weekend like you hear at most places lol. I’m amazed some of the convos I hear while waiting for food at places. Thumbs up papa johns. I’m very pleased with prices and over all everything.

I like the pizza (though the chicken and desserts are rather greasy) and prefer to order here than at other company’s, but there are a few issues. The restaurant closes at 11pm, which is a few hours earlier than the other pizza stores around here. Not helpful for a graveyard worker.
Recently I placed an order right before it closed, online, and an hour later I was wondering where it was. No one bothered to call me and tell me my order had been cancelled because it was placed ‘after the store closed’, despite me having submitted it BEFORE it had closed. They either didn’t want to make it that late or the site needs an update so orders actually appear once they’re submitted. Either way, it doesn’t excuse not letting me know and it doesn’t excuse the email that said my charge may not be taken off and I should check my card. The charge was removed, but saying ‘we may not bother’ makes me iffy on ordering from here again.
A while ago I also had the problem of an order not being delivered. They said no one answered the door and the order had been cancelled. I had been sitting by the door the entire time and heard nothing. The delivery person either got the address wrong, got lost, or simply didn’t want to make the delivery.

My husband and I ordered from here many many times. The pizza was always good and ready on time. They quickly recognized us as regulars (which melts my patron heart) and took care of us. We miss you (well, kind of, but we don’t miss Yakima).
