Luzie is phenomenal! I have short hair and like to change my hair color often. She moves right in step with my whims and makes great recommendations. I have always loved the way I look after Luzie has done my hair.

Love this place. I’ve only gone for tanning but would definitely go for other services if I needed them!
The first time I walked in they were SO busy at the front so Buffy asked if I wanted a tour instead of just sitting and waiting. This was very smart because instead of me sitting bored I got to see the cool, HUGE, salon (it’s 3 stories). She introduced me to the owner and showed me everything they offered, but not in a pushy, salesy way. The salon is so beautifully decorated and has such a lovely vibe. It is a Paul Mitchell salon too.
Anyways, whether you need you hair done, a tan, nails, eyelashes, make up, whatever, they do it!

Beautiful salon. I go there to get my eyebrows threaded. Lisa does an amazing job! She’s the only one I can trust when it comes to getting my eyebrows done.

My stylist contacted me a few days after my disaster of a hair day. She was confident she could remedy the situation and asked me to come in in 2 days. I expressed I was worried about the cost and I was assured the services were going to cost me nothing as they were to correct the damage to my hair. I agreed to come in and I’m glad I did. The keratin treatment and deep conditioning treatment really helped the fried parts of my hair and the direct color turned out absolutely beautiful. The cut left my hair significantly longer than either of us expected but with my stylists awesome knack for layering and face framing the damage blended in so well you couldn’t even see it. I am amazed that my stylist cared about my feelings and hair as much as she did. I never expected her to reach out to me and do everything in her power to fix what was wrong. My mind has been completely changed about belu.

Courtney is absolutely wonderful. She will genuinely listen to what you want! She is very knowledgeable about the services and products as well as very skilled. Highly recommended.

This salon is beautiful and I’ve yet to have a bad experience. I’ve had my eyebrows done multiple times by Lisa and she’s amazing. Holle has done my hair twice and she’s great at it. Best haircut I’ve had in awhile. The front desk lately has been amazing, very friendly and quick to offer you a drink. I definitely will keep coming back!

I’ve been going to this salon for a couple of months now… and let me tell you each time my experience gets worse. First, the front desk person, I believe her name is Talia is just RUDE! Normally, you are supposed to ask someone for a drink, but she simply will never ask. Each time I come in I am never asked, i mean once you set that precedent of asking for a drink you should keep up with it. On top of that, as my stylist comes to get me I hear the front desk girls talking crap about me. Like seriously honey, super unprofessional. Second, ali or ally whatever her name is the nail lady is the worst!

I came to the salon a couple days ago for an eyebrow threading and was really pleased with the service I received.
The salon itself is a beautiful little surprise in downtown Yakima; it was clean, modern, and had a wonderful ambiance. As soon as I walked in, I loved seeing that new clients were recognized and welcomed via a sign on their front desk. I was also offered a drink as soon as I walked in and I was in the seat for my threading shortly after getting there (which was wonderful since I got there a little early due to having plans after the appointment). The threader was very professional and understanding about how sensitive my skin is to manipulation; the threader had me apply witch hazel right after getting them done which was a nice touch (and made me feel that she really listened to my concerns!). I was also very pleased with the pricing as the threading was only $ 15! I will definitely return here again for other services… I got a great vibe from them and even told my friends about it!

I got married back in July and I know this is overdue by some months! I got my hair and makeup done by Buffy and she was spectacular! She did such an amazing job on my makeup (better than I ever could) and my hair looked stunning! She came to my venue and that was so convenient! She’s super nice, professional, and so talented!
I also got a spray tan done at Belu. I had never used a spray tan machine before and, with it being days before my wedding, I was a nervous wreck! Luckily, it was the perfect golden tan :) My bridesmaids wished they had done the same. They instead went somewhere else and came out looking like they got the Snooki Special. Couldn’t look at them without laughing!
I’ve gotten a few haircuts done at Belu, and have had nothing but good things to say!

Dear owner
Your salon had a barber there one time i remember cause he was the only guy cutting hair. And again your receptionist are really rude on the phone i called not to long ago when i asked her a simple question about the salons services.
I made a google review 2 years ago i should know when i gotten a haircut by you guys or not.

Pro:
I’ve been going here for awhile now so I speak from experience. The cuts and color have been good… the cuts are better than the color.
The scalp massage is to die for.
Con:
I’m not wild about the way the place is designed but it’s part of a formula so they can’t do much about that.
The prices are too higher. Higher than my high end salon in Seattle.
The appointments are too long. Maybe they could charge less and do the work a little more quickly.

Finally a salon that doesn’t disappoint!!!
After numerous visits to different salons and never getting it quite right I went to Belu Salon and have never been more happier with my experience each time. I have been going there for nearly 3 years now and have had the same stylist (Randi) The environment is very relaxing and friendly and there are many services available. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone, A+++++++

The people are friendly, which is a plus. However the woman cutting my hair the three times I went messed up my cut the last two times I went in. The last time she seemed more into talk about her vacation than cutting my hair correctly. The cut was terrible. I won’t go back, but it’s not a bad place.

When I moved to Ellensburg 2 years ago, I read Unilocal reviews to find the best beauty salon. The owner, Kristen is a true artist. Her salon is so high tech & beautiful, (they actually have a bar that you sit on barstools to watch them whip up your color, and they wear gun holsters to keep tools in, and the hair dryers come down from the ceiling. The place is rad. The reason I only go once a year now, is that their prices are very high! Darn, it’s even more expensive than Gene Juarez in Seattle.

My wife recently had her hair cut and colored by Buffy. She did an amazing job, my wife feels amazing and loves her hair, and Buffy was very nice and talented. Would definitely recommend her. She does have a full schedule, so schedule out a ways if you want to have her as your stylist.

Although I live in Seattle, I got married in Yakima, and feel extremely lucky that I stumbled upon Belu Salon as the place where myself and my bridal party got our hair and makeup completed.
I’ll start with my own experience with Buffy. I was a little worried going into the whole situation because I knew that it was a MAC salon, which often means heavier, glamourous makeup, which is beautiful, but not me. Through our trial run, to the actual wedding day, Buffy listened to all my concerns and desires, and did my makeup perfectly understated, exactly how I wanted it. If I ever felt the makeup was too much or I wanted different colors, she happily re-​did things to a place where I felt comfortable, and she always made sure that I was speaking up so that I went into my wedding day feeling 100% beautiful and 100% me.
Buffy also did my hair, and it was the exact same story – I could not have been happier with the end product. I brought in some photos as a jumping off point, and I ended up with the hair for my wedding that I always dreamed of. It stayed looking beautiful not only through a hot, dance filled evening, but even looked wonderful all the next day. I felt very sad when I finally gave in and washed it.
My bridesmaids also all had wonderful experiences, though I’m not sure the names or their stylists. Belu Salon told us to feel free to bring whatever we wanted and feel at home, so we spent the afternoon getting pampered there while drinking mimosas, eating rasberries, and relaxing in the cool atmosphere of the salon. It was the perfect way to unwind and have fun with my bridesmaids before the wedding, and I wouldn’t have changed a thing about it! Thanks Belu Salon!

Had a wedding to go to nearby and being from out of town I needed a local salon to do my hair.
Did not disappoint!
It was a busy Saturday afternoon and I snuck in after a wedding party so my stylist was tired after a bunch of updo’s. She was still very friendly, and chatted with me as she worked.
I was impressed with the final product and despite the unfriendly conditions of a windy reception locale my hair withstood the torture and still looked great after the wedding! Thank you Alicia!

Great at guys cuts.
I used to get my hair cut for 5 bucks less at your run of the mill joints and it would look like garbage.
Went here before a big presentation and told the girl (Courtney, I believe) to «make me look good» and wow it was great, i didn’t know what i wanted but she saw how to make it work. Still rockin that style and have gone back a few times.

Heard they just won best salon in Yakima. No kidding. There is flat out no competition. Kristeen is a hair visionary– even trainee Courtney does a wicked amazing blow out on my insanely thick hair that lasts an entire week. I’m known as the girl with the amazing hair and now my secret is out.
