I worked at the GCPL for less than a year. The administration does not care for their staff at all, human resources does not do their job, and to top it off many of the staff do not want to be there. There were the exception of a few people who did enjoy their job and made many days wonderful, but the others just spoiled the entire experience. I worked under a lady by the name of Stephanie, she did many things that breach privacy as well, one instance was when I had overdue material she would keep a running total of what I had over due! That wasn’t even her job! I addressed this to human resources who then turned the situation on me. The library aides are some of the best people who work at this library. I left the GCPL after the fiasco with my supervisor, I became employed at Applebee’s and have never been happier. I would NEVER suggest this library to anyone. Try yellow springs, beaver creek, winters or Fairborn. Never again.
