1 star is being generous. I ordered for pickup with a Groupon I purchased. I was told that I had to order 25.00 before tax. So I added two sodas. Then he proceeded to tell me I owed tax. I love buying groupons but I didn’t read this one well enough. I asked to speak to the manager he explained and was very rude in doing so. He told me I would be cheating my self if tax was included. Before his rude explanation was over her reminded me that HE was the owner and my opinion didn’t matter. I am living in whylie due to the tornado in Rowlett. We are not that unfriendly in my town. Will never purchase in that Mr Jims again. The owner tried to make me feel beneath him. Rude man. Terrible service.

Disappointed. I ordered a large Sticky Finger, a large Pepperoni and a 8 pc wing. It was greasy. The crust was too thin to hold the toppings. The wings were small and fatty. I paid 37.00. The Qual has gone way down. This used to be one of my favorite places for pizza. Not any more.

1 star was as low as I could go for this review, so here goes! First, don’t try and use Groupon cuz you’ll get gypped! I had a coupon for $ 25 worth of pizza, wings and/or whatever. The family deal was $ 21.99 for 24 wings. I bought 2 of them, making the total $ 43.98. $ 43.98 — $ 25 worth of items equals $ 18.98. «Mr. Jim» attributed my $ 31+ bill to tax. REALLY??? I must’ve asked for a reasonable explanation at least 3 times! TAX??? 75% TAX??? My daughter was getting embarrassed. & people were waiting so I paid the bill. «Im sorry, That’s the way its figured» I was told on my eay out. THEN, upon trying to eat the DA#N Things.. my family gets sick. They were like the frzn kind you buy in the grocery store, but not even that good! They were breaded & soggy! We had to broil for them for 10 mins to try & put some crunch back into them! AND I’M STILL not done here.. .. 2 hours later, 4 out of 6 of my family members got diarrhea! We’re talking non-stop, with stomach pains for most of the night! Well.. .. . one thing FORSURE, NEVERAGAIN! So later my oldest son who was visiting from out of state made a joke slogan that said: «Mr. Jim’s, Mr. Jim’s? NO, NO, NO. «Mr. Jim’s, if you want to blow, Blow, BLOW! Please don’t waste your time or $$. Go to Mogios, Boomerjacks, Bar Louie’s, anywhere but there. You’ll be glad you did!

Don’t waste your time with any Groupon deals they offer. We used a $ 25 worth of pizza for $ 12 and got the worst service ever. It’s obvious they hate Groupon like every other food place I’ve ever tried. Ordered 2 large Original pizzas with flavored crusts, one Jimatarian and one Cheese for pick up. The cheese was right! The Jimatarian had distinct sausage and pepperoni which didn’t have that veggie feel so my husband calls and tells them the issue. He also tells them I’m headed up to bring the other pizza and get ours. Easy, right? Not so much. I arrive and the man needs me to open my pizza to verify it’s indeed the wrong pizza. Ok, fine, I could have exchanged it for a DiGiorno I suppose. He verifies it’s wrong and tells me my pizza will be started very soon. What? Huh? Why? Why didn’t you start this when he called? Did I mention no air conditioning makes waiting 20 minutes feel way more like hell than necessary? So I get my pizza and head home. I think I’m done. Finally. I was wrong. This new pizza was the cheaper D’Lish pizza with thinner crust(unseasoned), less toppings and general sadness as a topping. Of course it wasn’t until I see it next to the cheese that I realize this. Great. I just want to eat what I ordered and have a beer. You had one job Mr. Jim. One job. Call the restaurant, get the runaround. They demand pictures, we send them. «Same exact crust and pizza,» they say. Nothing they can/will do. Really? Total rudeness over $ 12 and a night of phone calls from higher ups for zero resolution? Done. Done. Marcos, Domino’s, Godfather’s anywhere else but this waste of space. UPDATE: According to a phone call from Mr. Jones(the owner) they made the cheese pizza incorrectly and too well, he feels this is a teachable moment for his staff and we can have our free pizza whenever we want but no refund. Great. Cause it won’t be covered with hatred and spit now that we’ve made this much noise. No thanks, I’m good.

I am actually surprised to see bad reviews. I have ordered from this location many times over the past years and always receive great service. We LOVE the sticky fingers pizza! Our order is almost always the sticky fingers, a pepperoni & sausage, and Jim Stix(cheesy bread). It’s always hot and delicious. I’ve also met the owner and he’s been great. So great that I also order from here every year for our church’s vacation bible school. If you haven’t tried them, give them a chance. You’ll be happy you did.

Walked in there with a broke foot going to get some pizza. Leaned on the counter and I think it was the manager that started yelling at me to leave. He couldn’t have seen my foot and he couldn’t have known it was broke. He couldn’t see the boot. I had been walking on it all day and I needed to get some pressure of it. My husband likes Mr Jim’s. I Do Not, I Never Have. He told me he had a coupon so I agreed to have dinner delivered. He ordered on line and used all the prompts to order the items«customized.» I didn’t ask for a lot. On one pizza I asked to have the green peppers removed and to add mushrooms. We also ordered wings– well done. Hub called to make sure they honored his coupon before they delivered. Sure enough, NO, that coupon was for pick-up only. It was not printed anywhere on the coupon. Oh well, ok, lesson learned, Not Cool, but he still wanted pizza delivered to him. Go ahead and send it. Delivery was prompt, food was hot. I immediately realized my pizza was indeed loaded with green peppers and missing the mushrooms. Eating this pie, even begrudgingly, is Not An Option. I am upset, so I reached for the well-done wings. Of course, they were not well-done, they were the same mediocre rubbery skinned wings you get from most pizza places unless you order them Well-Done or «pass and a half». So much for the«customization», the«special order», the«have it your way», the attention to detail or even the good old fashioned customer service. Doesn’t matter here, they are all on auto-pilot. Hub called the store immediately to rectify the situation. After speaking to 3 different people, it was decide we Didn’t want a credit, we Did want a new pizza and my husband Did eat the wings himself, anyway, so no new wings(bummer for me). An hour later the new pizza arrived, delivered by the same driver, who quickly pointed out it was not his error.(Yeah, we knew that). With a $ 3.50 delivery charge, I don’t even feel remotely bad for the driver, though(Check your orders before you leave with them!). New pizza was fine. Not going to say it was the best ever or even the worst ever. But it was, finally, what I ordered from a pizza place I Do Not Like.

After saying hello hello hello several times I guy came in from the back smelling of cigarette smoke and talking on the phone. He told me just a minute. I waited a couple minutes because at first I thought it must be an important call. I quickly realized it was not he was just talking to a friend. I left and I am sure he did not care.

I purchased the Unilocal deal where I paid $ 20 for $ 40 worth of pizza. Well when I called to place my order and redeem my voucher they had no idea what I was talking about. They almost acting like I was lying and told me over and over that they had never put a deal on Unilocal.I cancelled my order and had Unilocal refund my money. Poor costumer service and rude management.

I do have to say I love the nacho stix from here and they have good specials at times. The pizzas not bad. I like«real» pizza but my son he would rather stick to the food chains. So, as far as a food chain goes… Not bad at all.
