Art Nails

Thought I should try this place today as my friends have been telling me about the place though it has a few negative reviews. I had a complete positive experience. Got greeted right away and everyone was pretty nice and professional. The lady who did my nails today was very attentive and very careful with my nails. In general everyone was vocal enough that I had no problem explaining what I want. My nails turned out awesome with the right design, perfect length and shaping just how I like it. The place is clean and organized. They use good quality products and beautiful colors to choose from. Very reasonable price. Pretty much nothing to complain about. Highly recommended !

I really think this place has really changed from what the review have said. They improved so much in their customer service. I was really happy when they got it a little crooked and once i pointed it out they were happily to fix the problem. They really are well-​trained. Just suitable of colors and styles they have. An also they are hygienic. I see them myself open sealed tools for my use. I would recommend for relaxation and comfortable.

There are a lot of negative comments about the place looking dirty, I think it’s an older building and I’m glad to not have to pay for chandelier lights.
I go for their basic mani-​pedi. It’s $ 25 and I have never had a problem with the polish or the tools not being sterilized. They always pull the instrument out of a sterilized packet when they start.
The staff is friendly and I always find myself chatting away while sipping on the free water or soda I was offered.
My only complaint is they try to upsell you the whole time. Upgrade the pedi? Upgrade the mani? Eyebrow wax? I realize it’s a business but I want to sit back and enjoy my time.

I’ve been going to Art nails for about 6 years and use to just LOVE them. But the past two years it’s been horrible. Customer service is just awful! They are so rude, and either rush you right out of there where it’s not relaxing or they try doing multiple people are once and leave you just sitting there waiting half way done. The place just seems dirty, and when THEY mess up even though it’s THEIR fault you have to pay to fix it. Hard for me to find a place I like but I now refuse to go back to Art Nails.

I thought I would give Art Nails another try. But, it seems another fail. They didn’t do a great job on my pedicure. I am very disappointed in the Customer Service of the owner and the staff. This business needs to be CLOSED DOWN PERIOD.

Worst salon, horrible, disgusting.
This use to be my go to place many years ago, but I moved out of the area and the quality of service was rapidly going down hill so I found other salons to go to. I started coming back out to Wylie to visit friends and thought I’d give it a try again. I definitely believe you get what you pay for. Nails don’t last even 2 weeks, they bark, polish chips, nails crack etc… Tina is extremely rough when she waxes. I have left bleeding numerous times. I think she enjoys making others hurt. She pulls skin when she tweezes. I refuse to get waxed there. She ask I always say no. Not a compassionate person. They do not honor their advertised prices or promotions. Nail polishes are extremely thick. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Not worth it even if you live right behind it. The salon is over crowded with chairs and is always dirty. I opulent send my enemy here.
Whether or not they remember names and your life story doesn’t account for their lack of customer service or the horrible quality of service you receive while there.

They had ugly, out of season colors available, and the place looked absolutely filthy. I quietly walk out and these people CHASED ME TO MY CAR. They told me that they will give me the best pedicure I’ve ever had, as I was getting into my car. I was so shocked. I didn’t say any rude comments about the hideous colors or gross salon they have going on, I just left… I was so confused and shocked. So… just don’t come here to get ugly colors and foot fungus

HORRIBLE! I used to go here two years ago all the time, but lately they have gotten progressively worse. The customer service is terrible, they are all very rude and they suck at doing nails. Pedicures last about a week if your lucky and they’re so quick! My pedicure was about 10 minutes tops and they charge you regular price so it’s not very cheap or anything. Nail wise is worse they never do my nails right, I’m always rushed. They just try to get as many people in and out as possible, even if they are in the middle of doing your nails, they will leave you to start someone else. I was once left waiting for 45 minutes to get my nails finished, this happens every time. I was clearly getting upset and the lady said if I will be patient she will do a good job for me. What??! So if not, you’ll do a bad job? This place is ridiculous, don’t waste your time and money here

I ventured to Art Nails after receiving a $ 17 pedicure leaflet in the mail. The price is cheap and the quality shows. Plus, this place is not for the claustrophobic as the pedi chairs are extremely close to one another. On a positive note, they have a wide range of colors to choose from.

Started going years ago, then I stop wanting to drive alllll the way down 78 when there are so many other places. always very nice, and remembered my name. Even when I recently started going back to them Michelle remembered me (from high school) 7+ years ago! VERY NICE.
Michelle and Cindy are the BEST…
would have given 5 stars, but I’ve been there twice when a younger (30 – 40) man has given me a fill nad full set. AWFUL. BOTH TIMES. He is nice, but they are NOTHING compared to Michelle or Cindy.
They were very busy due to homcoming and I allowed him to do them (to give him another chance) — he was nice… but WASTE OF MONEY!
Had to go back and have cindy fix them all (she charged me 7 $, which i was alittle annoyed at… but they look 20 times BETTER… worth it!)
Hope this helps someone. DONT listen to the negitive reviews… Make your own opinion… Seems like people only want to comment when there is a problem… never when someone does anything good!

Not enough English! Thick solar nails yuck! Ripped the skin off my eyelids when they waxed my brows! Still have scars!

I will not go back here, after they overcharged my teenage daughters and upsold them Both. When they specifically asked for less expensive services! Plenty of other places to choose from!
