I have since gone into Hollywood tans as of 4⁄24 when they opened up, and was told the owner would give 20% off anything in the store but that he «does not give away free tans.» Received an email from Hollywood tans this AM(5⁄1) stating that they closed their location on 4⁄30. Which means that the sold packages to people KNOWING they would be closing their business down. Inquired about refund and no response

Under normal circumstances I’d give this place more stars. The staff has always been friendly and on the rare occasion that I need a tan, I always get a great one here. But today is the second time in the last three days that I’ve come here during business hours to find it closed(brother’s wedding is tomorrow, hence the reason for frequent tans). On Tuesday a note was left indicating that there was an emergency, but today I’m here at 12:15 and no one’s here, lights turned off, door locked and no explanation. WTH?!

Worst customer service and worst customer retention staff I have ever experienced. i Will never recommend this place to anyone. DONTGOHERE. I bought a Groupon deal for $ 40 Unlimited tanning. Yes I was a previous customer there… but apparently i didnt read the«fine print» that said«new customers» only… and the Sales girl proceeded and adamentley told me that she cant honor my Groupon Deal and that ill have to call Groupon for a refund… I then told this little girl that i didnt know and she continued to DISCOURAGE me from even tryig to buy a membership telling me I HADTOPAYFOR a 3 month membership and that it was $ 60/a month if i wanted to tan there. I told her i drove alll the way there and are there any other deals? she said NO. Unreal. I was willing to pay but she just lost a customer for life BOTTOMLINE. If I could rate a 0 I would… if you want to take a chance tanning in a facility with no manager onsite and it being overseen by 16 yr olds who screw up your membership or double charge your credit cards because apparently math isn’t a strong point by all means go here .if not look else where of the 100s of salons out there… also management very unprofessional when there is a conflict as they don’t call u back or are allowed to be contacted privately leaving your concerns again at the discression of a teenager… will prob report to better buisness bearu
