Not sure what the negative Nellie’s are complaining about. This is a well kept restaurant with soothing kosher Chinese Food. Need to frequent more often. Think some of these reviewers may have other motives.

the food is always fresh, the staff is knowledgable and friendly and they do take out as well. it is reasonably priced and i will continue to go there with my family

We sat down to eat here but promptly left because a cockroach crawled onto the table. Stay away!!!

Food is practically inedible. We live 5 minutes away and instead will travel to Queens or Riverdale for kosher Chinese. It is really horrible.

Horrible service. No one is ever at the counter. Always empty. Food is disgusting. Do not go! Find another place.

The best kosher Chinese restaurant on Westchester, which, unfortunately is not very good. Best is the sushi. Anything with meat (except chicken) may be unchewable. Even the wontons were inedible last time I made the mistake of ordering it.

The food is pretty bad at this place. On various occasions I ordered lo mein, general tso chicken, sweet sour chicken. None was ever any good — the food was very bland and was like eating cardboard especially the lo mein. I tried to add duck sauce and mustard to the lo mein to make it have some taste but they only give 1 packet — you would need a bottle. The general tso sauce was watered down and tasted like chicken in water. I don’t know if all these problems are because this place is Kosher (as I found out later) or maybe I just don’t understand Kosher Chinese food but this is the worst tasting Chinese restaurant I have ever been to…

I’ve been presently surprised at how good the food has been lately. Also when another restaurant closed, eden wok added real kid food, so it’s become our go to place.

Yes the ambience leaves something to be desired and the carpet badly needs to be replaced, but no one goes there for high design so get over yourself already.

if there was a negative star rating this restaurant would be the winner! the most disgusting and gross sushi delivery/​restaurant in the world. I EAT SUSHI JUST ABOUT EVERY 2 DAYS! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO GET SHUT DOWN BY THE DEPT OF HEALTH. My food was ROTTEN AND STALE and LATE ABOUT AN HOUR. I am allergic to Spicy foods so i specifically ordered my food without any sauce. But of course they put spicy in everything i told them not to. I got an ALLERGIC REACTION and was sent to the hospital. And to top it off the person answering the phones told me he can careless. This place needs to be out of business.

I was pretty concerned after reading all the reviews here. But a group of us went out and we needed a kosher restaurant for one of our friends. I went in with low expectations.
This is a decent place. It is not the best Chinese restaurant but it is certainly not the worst either. The food is basic American style Chinese food. I ordered dumplings as an appetizer. They were the kind that have a thicker dough and the filling tasted good. I would have preferred a thinner dough but I have had this style before at other places. One of us ordered a sushi roll appetizer and she liked it.
For entrees we ordered mai fun and chow fun and General Tso’s chicken. The chicken was made extra spicy upon request. My noodles were made vegan upon request. I do have the advantage of speaking Chinese and so was able to clarify this to the staff. The food was good. One dish came out as chow fun when it should have been mai fun though. Despite that, we were all happy with the food. Like I said, it is like regular American take-​out Chinese food.
The service was fine. We did not find the wait staff to be rude at all. They were quite nice and kept water refilled at a good pace. We had to wait for a friend and they checked on us a few times to see if we wanted to order.
One thing that a couple of us did not realize is that no alcohol is served.
I think the fact that it is guaranteed kosher is the most important part for most of the customers. If you want authentic Chinese food and don’t care about whether the food is kosher, head to Chinatown or a couple of the places in White Plains.

My husband and I love their Monday night buffet, we travel «all the way» from Manhattan for it. They have sushi, and Chinese food and french fries and more. I think this is so much better than the Thursday night Eden Wok buffet in Manhattan (we never go to that one).

The food here is pretty sub-​par, but it’s the only kosher chinese food in the area so it stays open. I agree with the writer below who commented about being vegetarian. They are not vegan or vegetarian friendly — or rather, they just aren’t very good at altering orders over the phone. Also, be prepared to say your name and phone number multiple times. I don’t know if it’s my phone connection or theirs, but somehow they never seem to hear me.

my favorite Glatt Kosher Chinese restaurant and Sushi bar in New Rochelle. big on catering, in-​house service so-​so. As you can tell by my 3-​star rating, I wasn’t blown away, but I do like the concept, and especially the name.
and dont miss their sister location, «Wok Tov». they deserve several stars for the name at least!
