Wyckoff Personal Training – Parisi Speed School

We had our 6 year old son evaluated here. He has had trouble running his whole life. Cory spent an hour with our son. He said he would be happy to work on his running but that we should probably see a Neurologist to make sure we aren’t up against something more than a development issue. We took Cory’s advise and thank god we did. Our son was diagnosed with a neurological disorder that will require intensive physical therapy. Cory put our son first, and we can’t thank him enough. We will be back here in a year or so, when our son is ready run.

I have been training at this location for over ten years. There were some years of bad management that made it hard to stick with them, but I always did because the trainers have been great. Recently they have come under new management (Cory) who has made a significant effort to make the training a much better experience. The trainers are still great (I use two — Cory and Bobby) but the place is now always spotlessly clean, anything broken is noted and fixed or removed, the hours are more predictable, and in general it is just a very nice training location.
This is not the place for you if you want to come in and just do cardio on a huge assortment of equipment, or are looking for a rotating series of fitness classes with the latest fad offered. Instead, this is the place for you if you are looking for a trainer who will work with you on an individualized program to meet your fitness goals and schedule. For example, I recently experienced some significant physical problems that have caused me to seriously adapt my program, and my trainers have been great about working with me to continue to keep up a routine, and to adapt exercises to fit my new needs.
I have not taken the speed school but have observed many kids in the speed school and they all seem to be having fun along with a great workout while they develop skills.
