I will never go back to the Tommy Bahama Outlet in Wrentham ever again. They have nice clothes but a terrible exchange policy. I went back the very next day with the tags intact to find another pair of men’s pants and a shirt in a different size and had a terrible time. They do not provide store credit for future use and do not take the product back. Exchanges for the exact same amount had to happen on the same day. I had to make do with something I really did not want or spend money on a pair of pants that was more expensive.

I love Tommy Bahama and as I was in the Wrentham area I decided to stop in . Not in a meeting that day I dressed casually and was not approached by a single salesperson until I had several items in my hand ‚ The salesperson took my stuff and put it in a fitting room and offered to find more shorts in my size — great I thought — I never saw him again until I needed to check out — oh he said I didn’t find anything else …(thanks for letting me know) I will not return and I will go the the AL outlet when I am there next month and deal with people who know customer service …

WARNING! The store manager told me they take returns — but they do not! They’ll tell you that receipts say, «no returns» — but of course you don’t see the receipt until the sale is complete! You can exchange unwanted items, but I wish you better luck than I had. The store is in Wrentham, 45 miles out of my way, and I couldn’t find anything I liked in my size on two subsequent attempts. Finding something that fits is made harder by inconsistent sizing: I was a 34 waist on one pair of pants; a 32 on the next. Another two pairs of pants(same style) that were labeled 30 inseam actually varied in length by 1 ½ inches. Tommy Bahama’s exchange policy is asinine: They’ll gladly take your money if you want to exchange for something more expensive. But they won’t let you exchange for something cheaper even if you’re willing to forgo the difference! You can only exchange for something that’s exactly the same price or higher. They wouldn’t let me exchange my unwanted shirt for a less expensive belt. Insane! In the end, I just gave up and left the unwanted shirt behind. The store manager said she couldn’t keep the shirt. But that’s not my problem; it’s hers. It’s aggravating to be $ 70+ out of pocket, but it’s worth every penny to know the greater aggravation of dealing with Tommy Bahama is behind me. I will never return. I will never buy another item from Tommy Bahama.
