Steak Tips I can’t believe that I have been driving by this place for years now and never stopped in. All of the Patriots games that I have gone to and never even thought to stop here. My mistake, big time. The Rooster is everything I love about going out to a local bar. Small place, friendly staff and patrons, not much for décor, great small menu homemade bar food, affordable, digital jukebox, and sports on the tv. Great spot to catch a game and grab a beer. If you are hungry the item to order here is the Steak Tips. They’re served as a sandwich, delicious. Some sort of secret marinade. So good. Definitely will be back to The Red Rooster. Thanks

The Anvil was a place in wrentham years ago that was known as the town dump drinking hole, this place has taken its place. The food isn’t bad but nothing I’d go there just for, the service is alright, the drinks aren’t made there so you’re safe there… it’s a trashy crowd at best. Not my scene.

Stopped in during a business trip based on a recommendation from a local. Really friendly staff and patrons and the Irish Burger(special for the evening) may be the best burger I’ve ever had. Fries were also really good. Highly recommend the place if, like me, you enjoy visiting local hangouts instead of the chains.

I’ve passed this place many times but finally stopped in last weekend. The barmaid was nice, friendly, efficient and wore a Red Sox shirt very nicely. The place is small but it was full and loud. In the far corner were some young idiots that appeared to be drunk for the very first time yelling obscenities at the top of their lungs but no one seemed to mind. It’s local and there were some really nice folks in the crowd and conversing was easy. My burger couldn’t have been better and the atmosphere improved dramatically after the loud mouths left. I saw pizza, steak tips and a lobster roll that all looked very appetizing. There were four Harley’s out front one being mine but there must have been ten guys inside decked out head to toe, boots to do-rag in Harley apparel. I’m not sure what was up with that? It wasn’t Halloween so maybe there’s a gay biker vibe going on but to each his own. It was interesting and I’ll go back but I wouldn’t bring the wife or any of my girls with me just yet. If they want girls to be more plentiful they need to get rid of the offensive foul mouthed punks.

This is a great place. Clean, comfortable. The service was great, even my first time in. Sandwiches are fantastic.

Idk, I like it, and it’s not really divey or much of a biker bar. Yes, bikers stop in but they don’t stay all day… it’s a local, friendly place with a fun bartender who knows your drink even when it’s been months since the last visit. Food is good, steak n cheese eggrolls are awesome and their steak tips are delicious. Give it a try, and fellas… it’s okay to bring your ladies. I’m a classy bitch and I like it. Ps-a friend went home with a local and was rubbed down in olive oil… where else ya gonna get that?! ;)

Total dive bar. Not sure I got the best service here because I’m not a local.(Even though I actually live in Wrentham…) Haven’t actually had food here, buuuuuuuut… can’t beat the two dollar drafts!!!(Budweiser and Bud Light)

Redone, fresh and new, and still really divey. Sign says: «no biker colors allowed!» Hum, that sounds like some serious business. I don’t think I would have gone into the previous bar, and I’m generally considered to be the adventurous type. Not a lot of women here… Lots of old men. Nevertheless, when you’re in corporateville, it can be somehow refreshing for a moment or two. They did just play Elvis, and that is never bad. So I was just reminded that when I came here once before, I got a pepper and onion pizza and I really liked it, so there.

Definitely a townie dive bar.(Give it 3 and ½ stars) That being said since they remodeled it(used to be le saralle or something like that) its a lot cleaner inside. You still get the whole biker vibe, and yes if its your first time there it seems like the bartender tends to all the regulars first but you just have to give it a chance, chat with some of the regulars, they wont bite. Not a bad place to check out if your looking for a no frills bar experience, cheap beers, watch a game, engage in interesting conversation with some of the patrons. They do serve food here but i’ve just been here for drinks. I wouldn’t recommend coming here on a first date however its a decent spot to start your night off with some reasonably priced drinks.

The sign outside says«Everyone Welcome.» Could have fooled me when I sat for 15 minutes at a table when the femail bartender waited on every local and completely ignored me. Unless you’re «in» it’s not worth your time, unfortunately, like so many of the local joints on this stretch of Highway 1.
