This tavern is located in the strip off 161 anchored by Cameron Mitchell’s Bistro in Lindworth. Dressed now in Irish pub branding, the space was once a typical neighborhood dive and the tropes of that type still exist: spacey room for a lovely pool table and cues sticks, darts, jukebox, TVs lining the walls, the ubiquitous lottery machine. I like it. It has a darken paint job now, upscale cuttery and dishes, and a line of crafts on tap. Serving bar grub at a quality above the typical, the place is designed to keep up with modern bar trends. Though I really want to give it five stars, and even though the food was delicious I can’t rate it that high. What I mean is the Blarney is so, so close to being a five in its type. The dishes I had fell a bit short of superb, meaning it’s missing one or two things, and if I had any culinary know-how I’d elucidate them. I intend to return and order different meals soon, as I didn’t have the Shamrock sauce, a item raved by reviewers below, and my picks may not have been their signature items. A solid 4-stars is right for this visit. I ordered potato skins for starters and their Irish Club. The skins tasted like real cuts, and were cooked perfectly. You could taste the baked potato which sometimes is missing at other places. It needed a bit more cheese in my opinion. The bacon and onion were nice and the sour cream was fresh. I kinda wish I’d ordered them with pulled pork or chicken. I got the feeling they are designed to hold hardier toppings, and the ingredients seem measured with that in mind. The Irish club featured nicely tasting corn beef. It came in the authentic manner, triangular cut sandwiches with toothpicks at the end. The veg toppings were fresh and flavorful. It too was missing one spice or taste or something to knock it out-of-the-park. But still it was a nice eat. The servers are wonderful. I came early in the evening and the place was quiet which I had hoped while just stopping in on my way to friends. I can see how this place could be busier later, or in sunnier weather, as it would be a great place for a fun time with spirits. It’s certainly on my list for St Pats. The patrons were a mix of young regulars and older residents of the neighborhood. The guys seated at the bar, regulars it seemed, were showering the bartenders with jocular passes and gaining laughs. The lines were bad, ironic for a place with this particular name; they didn’t have the gift of the gab.

We came here a few nights ago with some friends. It’s tucked in a little strip-mall. Very unassuming. It was pretty much empty(but on a Tuesday night, what do you expect). They had one waitress running around, but she was really friendly and offered helpful menu suggestions. They have a decent beer selection — and from what we were told, it rotates pretty frequently. We shared tater tots(they give you A TON — seriously it must be a whole bag) and some pretzels. The tots were standard, but they have this great«shamrock sauce» — it’s like a zesty ranch. The pretzels were really good. Light and crispy and generously salted. It’s a nice spot to catch up with friends during the week… but I am looking forward to checking out the action on St. Patrick’s Day!

What a great find in an unassuming strip center! Lots of different beers(local, seasonal, micro etc.) on tap and their food menu was more extensive than just bar food. I snacked on some o-rings, but their secret«shamrock» sauce was where it was at! It was described by the bartender as «ranch kicked up with cilantro and jalapeños.» I met up with a friend on Tuesday and it was trivia night. Not planning to play, we decided last minute to jump in on the second game(They have two/Tuesday night – each an hour long – prizes for both so you can pick your time commitment.) The questions were a good assortment of topics and varying degrees of difficulty. The host was great(and kinda cute, too!) and played an appropriate selection of songs between questions. Some of the regulars even snuck over a few times to help us out when we obviously had blank looks on our faces. We ended up getting second place and won a restaurant gift card. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Nightly dinner specials and awesome staff make this a great neighborhood gathering place. Rotating craft beer selection and solid array of pub food. Regular live entertainment make this a great place to meet friends.

This place is a high quality restaurant hidden inside of a bar. The menu has a great variety of choices without being overdone. Everything gets better each visit. Give it a try, you will be surprised and will come back again.

This place is so great, I HAVE to write another raving review!!! The head chef, Aaron/Woody, has made a lot of new changes to the menu that my husband just loves! He usually gets a burger with tots or the fish tacos. Today, he raved about the blt on a pretzel bun. Aaron has made delicious vegan options for me!!! I feel so spoiled! Well, I am! The vegan meals have been so good! I would love to see Blarney get a huge vegan following so that things could be on the current menu! As of now, I am so grateful for Aaron making an awesome vegan entrée for me just about every Sunday. And as always, Tara(the drink slinger-and a very good one at that!) is so fun to talk to and takes excellent care of us!!! Make sure to try her jalapeño cilantro Margarita! It’s her very own creation! You will feel so welcomed by Aaron and Tara, you won’t want to leave! We never do! I highly recommend you go here on a Sunday so you can experience the best service and customer care. ****Not dissing this place on the weeknights, we’ve only gone on Sundays!!!

Pretty cool joint, but extremely expensive food. Cheapest burger is $ 11.99 — no fries included. What? I thought this was a local bar in Worthington…

When a place changes names multiple times in a few years, that is not a good sign. We when to this bar/pub to grab a quick bite to eat and enjoy a couple of brews. Beer selection was okay, menu was as Irish as green beer and service was extremely slow. We were the only people eating in the restaurant and it took longer than expected to get our food and check. I guess we should have sat at the bar like everyone else. The food was edible but nothing I would come back for.

Have been here 4 times so far and so far have found great for sandwiches. The Turkey Rueben is outstanding and the burger is one of the best I have had in Columbus for a long time. They even cut their fries form fresh potatoes and fry with the skin on. Can be crowded at times when they have live entertainment which makes service a little slow but overall a great new addition to the linworth area.

The food was good although the menu is kinda weird… hard to read and the offerings are all over the map. Service was not good at all the night we were there. Only 2 girls working the bar and floor so either they got caught short that one night or they’re in trouble if they’re trying to staff like that. I’m still trying to figure out what, if anything, was«Irish» about the place other than some green paint. That said, try what they call the Irish nachos. They were good and my wife liked the grilled Caesar. Looked like a decent place to watch sports too.

Great new spot. Irish and Dark Green inside. Next to Cameron’s. Local watering hole feel. Owner and staff are super nice and open to suggestions. They have food, haven’t had the opportunity to try it yet. I recomend giving it a try!
