Placed an online order at 6:30. When it didn’t show at 8:15(confirmation email said 7:45 delivery), called and was told that our didn’t come through until later than 6:45. Explained we received a confirmation at 6:30, then he backtracked and said they were really busy but my order was the next to go out(it hadnt even left yet). Said as soon as the driver gets back, he will send him here. So it’s 9:00 and no pizza. I’m now thinking about just making dinner. So much for a relaxing Friday evening…

I was always a huge fan of Sbarro. I would go to the mall sometimes just to get the stromboli. I was very excited to hear that it was coming to a place near me and that they would deliver, but my high expectations for this place were let down. The food quality is a 4 star. The stromboli is really good, but greasy at the same time. I’ve gotten a few times and it never has been as good as it is or was at the mall. The NY style pizza is good too, though not as good as the stromboli in my mind. The sicilian pizza is garbage. The reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because of the horrible customer service. 0 for the service. I came in here when it opened, and for the first few weeks of opening a new restaurant you can’t really judge a place based on their customer service– but it has gotten progressively worse. To begin, you can’t order online which is the root of a lot of problems. That wouldn’t be a big deal, but there is no way of looking up prices online either so you have no idea how much the food will cost prior to ordering. Everyone likes knowing the prices prior to ordering so they can plan out their meal. If I ever have a question about something when I call in(because the information is unavailable elsewhere) it always takes way too long for an answer. Every time I order I get annoyed with the poor customer service and think it will get better but it gets worse.

We had high expectations for this location. We love the mall locations. The service was very slow took about 30 minutes for our pizzas to come out. The staff seemed overwhelmed and under trained. We sat in the dining room which was uncomfortably hot from the pizza ovens. The pizza was just OK, not terrible but it didn’t taste like the mall locations. Hopefully this place improves since Sbarro is one of my favorite pizzas.

I have yet to taste the pizza. Hopefully it’s as good as it was when it was in the mall. Upon entering, it wasn’t clear if we should sit or be seated, or order first then sit and wait. My biggest problem is I’ve been waiting for 30 minutes for my pizza. Indidual slices came out fast for my kids. My pizza? Still waiting. Apparently they forgot the bread sticks too. Service kind if sucks. Big time. The employees don’t look like they know what they’re doing. Look very confused. I won’t come here again for sit down. Maybe to get a pizza to go. Maybe. Update: so, 40 minutes waiting on my pizza. I waited so long because I noticed people who were there before me and one who ordered after me were still waiting. But at 40 minutes I had enough. My friend got his sub within 5 minutes. My kids got their slices within 5. I was told then that my pizza was coming. My kids might have been the exception because I saw a lot of people waiting longer than 5 minutes for a few slices. Anyway, after 40 minutes I complained. The girl was really nice and polite and apologized. She asked me what we were waiting on. I told her a pizza and bread sticks. She said it looks that that just came out and will bring it right out to my table. I still waited 12 minutes for it. At that point I took the pizza and left. Went home and ate it with a beer. Pizza was good. Experience at Sbarro not so good. Sucked actually. From my experience and the looks on the faces of those who were waiting on take out pizza’s, and also the complaints I heard from those people, don’t go there. Maybe delivery is better? Maybe Sbarro should stick to malls?
