Great pizza, great salads, really big beer-on-tap selection, nice wine selection, lots of sports on TV’s. Always friendly service. Our«go to» place for a late night bite in Worthington. Great place…

One of our few forays into family friendly dining, but I will say it was good. First of all it was not very busy tonight which was not expected and we didn’t have to wait at all. Upon being seated I promptly picked up the beer list. Impressive! I picked out their Pilsner collaboration with Homestead brewing and it is the perfect hot weather beer. The beer list is a good variety and well laid out for people that may not be comfortable or used to craft beer. For food we decided to just stick with one pizza to test it out. We selected the classic and it was nice. It honestly was rather loaded with toppings which was a little much for me, but it tasted good. I really liked the crust which was soft but crisp all at the same time. We really enjoyed the sauce too, solid tomato flavor. The price on the pizza was a little high… I’d like to see it like $ 5 less but oh well. All in all this is a nice place. Would I come here often? Probably not, but it’s a great option.

Horrible restaurant. It’s basically a pizza version of bw3s. Buy fresh lettuce please! Wish I could give it zero stars but not an option on Unilocal.Go elsewhere. better options nearby. What a waste of time and money!

My family and I went to Pies and Pints for dinner on a weeknight and had a wonderful experience. The pizza is excellent,; I appreciate all of the options for specialty pizzas. But if you’re a simple person like me, just cheese is great too! There is plenty of craft beer to choose from as well. Our service was excellent and our server worked well with the children. I’m pretty sure that later in the night wouldn’t good for small children, but it was early and they were more than accommodating for our family! Since it was such a great experience for our whole family, the next time we’re looking for a good pizza place in this area, we would visit again!

As of now, the only restaurant I know of in the area with a more extensive craft beer list is The Winking Lizard. I would advise skipping the mediocre appetizers and going straight for the chicken gouda pie.

Picked up a couple pizzas on Memorial Day. I have been to pies and pints several times and it is always phenomenal. Traditional pepperoni is a great normal pie but if you are looking for something less traditional the chicken Gouda is so good. Possibly the best pizza I have had outside your traditional pizza ingredients and sauces. Get the chicken Gouda you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic place! Exceptional service. Me and my wife agree! The pizza was tasty and the management was friendly. This place has cutting edge technology, They have a board that shows their twitter feed. they are super engaging with their customers. the restaurant is well designed, even the bathrooms are nice. One thing is that they should sell a few pies, because some people come in their with a pie in thief mind, although they are talking about pizza.

Very modern pizza shop & taphouse. Came here and sat at the bar. Large selection of both bottled and beers on tap. Digital screens of what is on tap and how much in each tap, pretty cool. They have a lot of specialty pizzas but I tried ricotta and ham and it was delicious. The crust is different from any other pizza I’ve had. Tougher in a way but really good. The sauce was interesting but perfect because instead of being traditionally spread underneath toppings it was squirted in a spiral on top.

Went here for the first time tonight. The pizza was outstanding. We had the shrimp mediterranean and the steak and mushroom which was superb. The beer selection is more than you could ask for, without a doubt. The ambiance is good, although the chairs are a bit uncomfortable. The service is good enough; no real complaints. I would definitely recommend it for a fun night out or after work gathering.

The food and beer tasted great, but the service was questionable. They over charged me on my bill and when I pointed it out to my server he would not fix it or apologize. The explanation that he offered was that they were currently out of the beer that I ordered so he got me something else instead. I don’t understand why he didn’t tell me that when I ordered or when he brought me my drink. It was only an extra $ 2 but I feel like it was a sneaky thing to do. I would go back again for the food but the staff needs to do better next time.

We love Pies and Pints and have been to 3 locations. My favorite menu items are House Salad and Black Bean Pie. Huge beer menu but they are very helpful with deciding on a beer if you aren’t familiar with them. Management is always pleasant and we have never had bad service. Have visited Charleston and Easton as well. Always great!

Yes! Yes! Yes! This place really hit the spot. I came here at 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon so it was not busy at all and the service was quick. We sat in the bartenders section and she was friendly. My friends and I started with a half cheese, half sausage and pepperoni and Mannnnnn was it delicious. It’s almost New York style but the crust is a little different. The pizzas are gourmet and are at the same price point as a Cali Pizza Kitchen. We finished the first pie and then ordered another which was a half Hot Mama half Chicken Gouda. They were so good and the crust hold up very well and is not soggy. Go here now!

Wednesday evening around 6:45pm we decided to get call in and order a pizza to go. I called and waited several rings before someone picked up. The girl on the phone wasn’t that friendly and I was told my order would be ready for pick up in 45 min. We get to the restaurant and it’s packed. We wait at the hostess station up front and we see several staff members walking past, but no one stops at this station to assist us. Someone finally comes by and we tell them them we’re picking up a to-go order. She tells us to go to the bar and then walks away. We go to the bar and we’re not quite sure what we’re supposed to do here either. We can’t flag the bartender down and the bar is crowded too. We finally catch her attention and she collects our credit card to pay and the we are told to wait until our pizza is ready. There are a few other people in the same boat around us. They also do not know what to do once they reach the bar and are having the same issue in trying to get noticed. Our pizza isn’t ready until an hour and fifteen minutes later. That’s 30 minutes over the quoted time! I get that it was obviously busy, but they could take the time to organize things a bit better or to have someone check on their paying costumers and apologize for the wait. I wouldn’t have minded the wait as much if anyone would have taken the time to recognize us. Again, the saving grace of this place is the pizza. We split a pie with half Thai and half Steak & Mushrooms. The Thai we thought would be a total wild card, but it landed in the top two of the four specialty pizzas we have tried so far. The shrimp were not over cooked and the pizza had a lovely balance of savory to the touch of coconut sweetness. The Steak & Mushroom was also good, but I think the flavors really popped the next day. You could really start to taste the gorgonzola and the flavors just seemed to blend better overnight. Pizza is great! Service still meh…

Having heard lots of good things about Pies and Pints, I came to this establishment expecting more than should have, I suppose. We timed our arrival so we were seated right away. Good thing, it fills up fast. Hostess treated us well, as did the waitstaff. Great selection of beers. With a name like Pies & Pints, you would expect as much. But what would help is perhaps to indicate which were local(Ohio) brews. I only happen to know that Cellar Dweller is the brew-arm of Valley Vineyards from personal experience. We ordered salads with our sandwiches. My wife, who asked for no hot peppers and no horseradish Mayo on her sandwhich, ordered a house salad. Pepperoncini’s on the side, we thought — that’s typical. The waitress could have said«we have those chopped up and spread throughout the salad» knowing my wife just said she doesn’t do spicy stuff. But she didn’t. OK, we all forget things. Not ideal but I can understand. My wife and I ended up swapping salads(Mine was the Spinach Gorgonzola — actually was pretty good). The sandwiches — my wife had a Steak and Cheese which was good. Not awesome, but not bad. Worth the money. I ordered the Cuban. I guess this is the P&P version of a Cuban but to me, was very far off the mark. Traditionally, and is described on their menu, a Cuban has pulled pork. What was on this sandwich more resembled Deviled Ham. I know it’s more labor-intensive, but there is a significant difference between pulled pork, and pork fed through the meat grinder. And Jalapeños on the sandwich — again, this is the P&P version, so it’s not really what one thinks of for a Cuban. I was disappointed. We don’t go this weekend at often, but if we do return I’m going for the pizza. Hopefully that will be a better experience.

I have visited many of their locations and have never had one problem. I appreciate the very knowledgeable staff. They know the beers they have on tap and give recommendations. That said I visited this location at 5pm on a Saturday. I like to sit in the bar, i saw an empty table asked the bartender if we could sit there and she said they were not reserved. I sat down and was getting waited on when the hostess walked over and said they needed us to move they were seating someone else there. This party had come in a good 5 min after I sat at the table. There was a high top in the restaurant a mere feet from this table I do not understand why they were not seated there. I wanted to be in the bar that is why I sat at the table in the bar. The party she did sit at our table were high school aged so I don’t understand why they needed to be in the bar area. The hostess did not offer any apology was very rude. So I left. I never been treated so rudely. I will not be back.

I am happy to report that we went back to pies and pints today and had a really great experience! Our server did a great job with beer suggestions, appetizer suggestions, and offering us dessert. Like I said in my previous review this place has great pizza with awesome topping options. Many beer options too! We also tried the pork nachos which were great. This place really stepped it up this visit. We will certainly be back!

Pies and Pints is a perfect hang out place in the Short North district. Whether you’re watching a game on their big screens, hanging out before or after a concert/game or just wanting to sip a microbrew. This is a cool place. I was very impressed with the ambience of this place. You get a feeling that you’re at an upscale pizza joint like Giordannos in Chicago. They have an impressive microbrew list. I tried good brew from Buckeye Lake and enjoyed it. I also went for the big basic pizza pie,(16 inch) and it was better than most pizza I’ve tried. The crust was perfect and crunchy,(not thin) and they dab a little sauce over the cheese. They have plenty of specialty pies on their menu, but your choices are 10 inch or 16 inch pies. Nothing in the middle. The only thing not giving this place a 5 star was the bartender not asking if I wanted another beer or checking up on me about the food on a Tuesday night when it was half packed. The food did come out fast though. Other than a few small negatives, I would suggest this place to anyone in the area.

I finally made it here– people have been telling me about it for years. It had been many years since I went to the Worthington Mall, and now I remember why– the parking lot made me want to turn around and leave. Lanes headed every which way, narrow aisles, blind spots, pedestrians wandering through as if they have never seen a car before… But I made it through. Pies and Pints is back in a corner near the Kroger, and its entrance is a little hidden back by the mall entrance. Then I ran into the odd attitude some places give single diners. I’m confused: if I’m standing in front of the hostess stand, what do you think I want to do at your fine establishment? Why not say«how many?» and then seat me? Why just look at me, waiting for me to explain that yes, I do actually want to eat there? One of these times I’ll just turn and walk out. Once I got seated, it was a very nice experience. Great service start to finish, nice atmosphere. No beer since I was on the way to work, but they have a very, very interesting list. Plenty of good drafts. I had a Rogue root beer– quite tasty, and went with the food very well. I started with the touted wings, and was disappointed. They aren’t bad, but I didn’t get much of the flavor everyone talks about. A little sweetness, some building heat, but nothing interesting. Plus, they were a little dry, and overly-blackened. Oh, well. Maybe it was a bad day for them. They were meaty, and had a nice dipping sauce. The meal turned around with the pizza. I chose a small Thai(shrimp, curry, etc.) I thought it might be too much with the wings, but I was a little hungry and the pizza had a thin crust and wasn’t loaded with toppings, so I didn’t leave overstuffed. The crust barely held up the tender shrimp, but it worked out, and the flavors all worked well together. I really enjoyed the pizza, and look forward to trying out other combinations. All in all, pretty good if you’re in the area. A little pricey for what you get. I doubt I’ll be back till the construction is closer to finished.

My only regret about coming here is that I don’t live closer. WOWZA, that’s what I call pizza! They’ve got an awesome beer selection, and their specialty pizzas offer plenty of variety. I had the steak and mushroom, and it was good to the last bite! The steak and mushroom tends to be a bit more heavy, in the best way. The cheese gives it a tangy kind of bleu cheese/gorgonzola type of flavor, which is perfect with this kind of mix! A small(10″) is a good serving for one person, but you can get a half-and-half large pizza(16″) if you want to share. This is a good place to bring kids or groups. I’ll definitely be back!

It’s been some time since I have been to the first Columbus location. I’ve hit up their location in Easton a couple times, and now that I work practically next door, I see myself coming here more and more… Because the service is good, the food is great. It’s hard to fuck up when they continue to do these things well. Oh, and the decent beer selection is good, too!
