If I could no stars I would. I noticed they were making my sandwich with their BARE hands. So I asked don’t you have gloves. The girl replied«we never use gloves. We just wash our hands a lot. «I’m sorry but as a culinary school grad the first thing you learn is sanitation laws! I don’t know how they’re getting away with this. Oh & they clearly ignore allergens because the peanut butter cookies are thrown on a tray with the sugar cookies. There are so many health codes being broken here I’m disgusted.

I go to MCPHS and there aren’t too many choices of food within walking distance. This place is amazing and has the best Greek pizza I have ever had! Their breakfast sandwiches are not that great, my bread was burnt. Definitely coming back here to try the rest of the menu. Lots of business people come here so it feels weird having a backpack on or just not a suit. But the staff doesn’t make you feel weird for sitting alone and eating either.

WHERE’S THEBEEF? (the fresh beef, that is) First time customer. Ordered a roast beef sandwich with horse radish. Specifically asked, 3 times, for no cheese on the sandwich(I’m allergic). I was surprised how quickly the food was delivered and gave a generous tip to the driver. I was, however, immediately disappointed at the sight of my sandwich. First of all, there were 3 pieces of cheese on it. But this is a common mistake that I am well used to, but unfortunately, this sandwich could not be fixed by simply taking the cheese off. When I opened my sandwich, what I found was only one slice of grey, dry meat. Only a fool would call this grey chunk«roast beef». They actually put on less meat than cheese! And I asked for NO cheese! I called in the hopes that they could send over a replacement sandwich, but when I explained to them the problem, I was put on hold for a good 6 minutes until the«manager» took my call. Instead of the friendly service I got when I first ordered, she was very cross with me. I asked if they have any fresher meat available, but she said it all looks like that. She actually tried to tell me that it wasn’t cheese, it was horse radish. ASIF I DON’T KNOWWHATCHEESEIS? At this point I was very upset and offended and just asked for a refund. Mind you, I was angry, but I never once raised my voice. About 15 minutes later, the disgruntled manager comes down to my workplace and scolds me in front of my employees. Apparently they don’t take kindly to dissatisfied customers. She offered me another sandwich, but I kindly declined. After her long rant, she handed me my money back. I thanked her and she stormed out with both sandwiches. She made a huge scene at my office, and, needless to say, I have a pretty low opinion of their service now. I don’t think I will be going back to the Z Café anytime soon.
