Unholy Grail Tattoo

Great work. They took a drawing my daughter made at four years old and free handed it on my arm. Granted 4 year olds artistic skills are what 4 year olds do. This whilst getting slammed at rock and shock, without an appointment. What a great crew. I’m debating using them to revamp my 25yo tats.

Unimpressed. Portfolios were weak and contained VERY few photos of actual tattoos. Person behind the counter was incredibly condescending.

The manager/​owner mike needs a few lessons in customer service! Him and his artist Angel completely wasted my time. I thought this may have been a good choice because the artists seemed talented, but after a SCHEDULED consultation that started late, I wasn’t satisfied with what Angel came up with for his impromptu attempt at my tattoo. Instead of taking the time to draw up something before hand (as promised) he «winged it» and essentially wasted my time. Then because I wasn’t willing to give them a $ 150 (non-​refundable) down payment, ultimately just trusting that even though I didn’t like the consultation design, he would come up with something better after I paid him, they didn’t want to make my tattoo a priority anymore. Days later I called on an update on my tattoo and I was told that there were others ahead of me and that I would have to just have to wait. Words of advice: COMMUNICATE! If Angel didn’t have time to work on my tattoo that should have been communicated so that I didn’t waste my time. Also, you need a better sales pitch! Down playing and dissing the other local shops in an effort to discourage me from doing business with them isn’t the way to go. Focus on bettering your business management and customer service skills, and you may not have just turned my money and loyal business over to your competitors. GOOD LUCK!

I have been following Angel’s work for some time, as a tattoo and comic book artist. When the time came to have my tattoo done by him… He did not disappoint!
Angel managed to conjure up the image I wanted onto paper… And somehow translated that to an even more amazing piece of art on my skin.
I also love that his work is on display throughout Unholy Grail and that he worked quickly.
Trying to convince my fiancé to gave his first tattoo done by Angel and I will definitely be getting more done by him!

Of my friends and family travel from all over the east coast just to get tats from him. The place is awesome. Great staff, fair prices, and amazing work by all the artist. Best of all they are all friendly, professional and very clean. Would recommend to all.

This shop is amazing. I’ve been getting work done by Angel Santana for the past few years and I can confidently say I won’t go see another artist. I haven’t had a single idea for any of my tattoos that he didn’t get excited about or that I didn’t like. I can go to him with just an idea and trust him enough to draw it without me having any complaints or altering his design in the least bit. He likes to challenge himself with different styles of tattoos, which is a huge reason why I go to him. He’s not one of those artists where all the tattoos he does resemble each other. He is very detailed and fast when he tattoos. I have a yoda portrait on my thigh that another artist started that took her over six hours in two sittings that he redid and finished in three. His work is worth every penny, and I’ve recommended people to him as well as gotten people I know to start getting their tattoos done by him.
As for the shop itself, it is very clean and the inside is beautiful. Everyone that works there and has worked there since I started going has always been welcoming and genuine towards their clients. I highly recommend.

Most of my tattoos were done at Unholy Grail, by Angel. He is super nice and so talented and is a ton of fun to talk to about your ideas and get excited about your tattoo with. He’s done a totally gorgeous horror portrait on me as well as some cartooney stuff and a really lovely pinup-​type tattoo of Lily Munster. Eclectic style and excited to try different things!
The shop is conveniently located, clean, comfortable and professional. I recommend it to people all the time. :)

Great shop. The place is always spotless, great original artwork on the walls and in the portfolios beyond just the excellent ink work, good tunes always playing but not cranked. I’ve had a couple of pieces done here by Cory, who’s friendly and professional, and I’ll be back for more. Pricing is fair and appropriate for a skilled shop like this. No flash in sight, so if you’re looking for the Chinese character for «love» on your shoulder, this might not be the place for you. If you’re looking for talented artists to help you design your awesome tattoo or to execute your original design, this is your place.

Everyone here is awesome regular people, laid back and mad cool! Angel Santana does amazing work! I won’t go anywhere else.
