Super cheap prices, cute little place in a strip mall. The waitress was a little funky but VERY sweet and attentive. The food was pretty darn good. I had haddock with crisp delicious veggies and some sort of major fattening decadent mashed potatoes. I ate a 1⁄3 of my plate. With tip and a ginger ale my share was 14.00 !! We saw my friend’s band, The Invaders play after. A super cute spot and a fun vibe. If I lived in Worcester, I’d go back. It is 1 minute to the MA Pike and 146. Convenient location. It took me 20 minutes from Holden. After, I blasted home to the Cape. Try it out! I don’t eat meat but the prime rib looked great and was 9.95. They have Keno(not my thing) and the Bruins was on!

The wife and I had planned a well deserved date night without our daughter after a very long week for both of us. We called a babysitter and headed out to dinner. We decided to check this place out as we had recently purchased a voucher from for $ 25. We were getting a late start and leaving our home in the Leominster area at about 8:20pm. My wife called the restaurant to find out what time they were open until so that we didn’t waste a trip to find out that they closed at 9. The female that answered the phone told my wife that the kitchen was open until 9:45 and they had run out of lobster for the night. My wife specifically said to the woman on the phone«so if we leave now, and get there at about 8:45 /9:00pm, that is not going to be a problem». The restaurant employee said that it was not a problem at all. So we trek out to southern Worcester and arrive at the restaurant at about 8:45pm. The first thing we noticed is that there was a sign on the hostess podium stating that the are no longer accepting coupons and that if I am in possession of one I need to contact about getting a refund. Just as we were finishing reading the sign, a man abruptly came over to us, not to greet us but to tell us that the kitchen was closed. My wife and I both spoke up and said we made the effort to call before driving all the way here and were told that you were open until 9:45pm. He did backtrack as we were walking out and said well you sure you don’t want to stay as if the cook went home for the night and maybe he could whip something up for us. We said no thanks. The place looked dingy both from the outside as well as in. We were not impressed from the moment we pulled in the parking lot especially as it stunk of rotting fish. The website makes you think that this is quite a trendy place with great food and drink, but it didn’t look that way when we walked in. I can’t speak on behalf of the food as we did not have an opportunity to try it. We just knew that if we had stayed, we would have been disappointed and most likely rushed. We ended up traveling all the way home and visiting a local favorite of ours that we should have just gone to in the first place.

I ordered a seafood scampi. It contained a large amount of seafood and was very flavorable. The oil was excessive. The quasadilla contained mushrooms even though it was not listed on the menu. They gladly made a new one but our meal arrived prior to the remake. The banana spring roll was amazing. The server was polite but slow and inefficient. Not at all attentive.

I have eaten here several times with friends. The food is always in the realm of ok to good. I’ve never had a bad meal there. However I do think the fod is way overpriced for what it is. The bar is awesome though, We drink and sing Karaōke there more than anything. My friends complain the drinks are weak, but I drink beer, so I don’t care. Its fine to me. Best of all on nights when it gets away from me, it’s a short stagger to home!

Squire White’s is very close to our home so 4 times we have gone in for our last round before ending our date nights. Four times we have been disappointed in the beverages served. Twice the Bass Ale tasted moldy & had no carbonation. When we asked for something different we were met with a shrug. Also, if the bartenders don’t know how to make a drink that’s been ordered, either crack open the bartending guide under the counter or let us know. I hate playing«Guess What I’m Drinking». So all I can say is, Don’t. Just don’t. They can’t pull a beer properly and although they are a local business that I WANT to love… just don’t.

Obviously these people went on slow nights. Not me, my family and I had a fantastic meal, last Saturday night. There is nothing on earth like their onion strings. I think one has to give a big hand to whoever cooked those lobsters, the place was jamming. The waitstaff seemed to be into their customers, joking away, in particulary Sandy. Is she a model, when she isn’t working? The owners, Joey and Rich came over to our table and all we did was laugh with them. We will be back!!! The Holmes Family of 3 from Seattle
