PSM offers an array of exciting private and group lessons in Foxtrot, Swing, Cha Cha, Merengue, Salsa, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Bolero, and Disco! Newly engaged couples can take advantage of wedding preparation lessons to make their first dance as ‘Mr. and Mrs.’ extremely memorable. Already into ballroom dancing but want some tips on cleaning up your style? Reserve your spot at one of PSM’s seminars and/​or workshops taught by international dance master Bill Morganti. Friday Nights at PSM are fabulously fun with weekly Dance Parties starting that include a forty-​five minute lesson followed by two-​hours of free-​style ballroom fun. Refreshments are always served. Partners are not required. Whether it’s for fun or fitness, competitive Dancesport training or for your ‘Big Day’, PSM will have you dancing towards your goals one step at a time.

History

Established in 1990.

Poise, Style, and Motion was founded in the early 1990s by P. Steve Montouri. The studio moved to its current location at 97 Webster Street in Worcester in September, 2004. The studio was under the ownership of Deborah Galvin from September, 2008 — March, 2011. The studio aims to bring excellent ballroom dancing to Worcester, be it for pleasure, fitness or competition.

Jared Vigneault V.

Business Owner

Jared Vigneault, former United States Eastern DanceSport Rising Star Champion, has been an active ballroom professional in the Massachusetts area for eight years. He is an active member with the North American Dance Teachers Association with degrees in International Latin & International Standard as well as a current member with Dance Vision International Dance Association with degrees in American style Rhythm & Smooth. Jared has won the Top Teacher Awards for both Dancing A La Carte and A Comp for All Seasons. Jared even scored the Dancing with the Stars Tour Dance Award in 2007 at the DCU Center, formerly the Worcester Centrum. Jared’s goal is to increase excitement for Ballroom Dancing and DanceSport in the Worcester area by offering quality Ballroom Dance instruction and first class competition training for all ages and levels as well as hosting exciting regularly scheduled Dance Events for the general public.
