First time here, after looking at a few reviews on here and on Facebook(or Spacebook as Paul calls it.) Paul immediately knew I was not a regular, and I confirmed this, as I informed him I just moved to the area. I was second in the queue, but I don’t think I was here for longer than 45 – 60 minutes(haircut included.) The great thing about this place(other than Paul) is that it has an authentic, classic barbershop feel. It doesn’t have a bunch of hipsters in tight pants and suspenders with shoes that were bought yesterday, but made to look like they were a family heirloom. Long story, short. If you want a classic haircut. For a reasonable price. While talking about the weather, the Patriots/Red Sox, and the news. This is the place to go.

From the moment I walked in there 8 years ago, I knew I was home. At 6 am Sinatra was blasting, pics of the Rat Pack abound, sports memorabilia, and a bit of Worcester history. There’s always something to talk about with Paul, and Davia is a sweetheart — both give fantastic cuts and fantastic service. A hidden jewel, not just in the Burncoat area, but in the city of Worcester.

Wasn’t too impressed. Paul recognized I was a first timer and was very nice throughout. He knows how to talk to people. He left the left side significantly longer than my right however and unfortunately It wasn’t until I got home that i got close up and realized how bad it was. I don’t know if he felt rushed because a few people came in when my haircut was getting done or what, but it was my day off and I had to go all the way back in and wait another 15 minutes until he was done with 2 other people before he fixed it. Wasn’t a great start to my day. I’ll keep searching until I find someone who’s thorough and takes their time. I liked Paul’s because he’s close but I won’t sacrifice convenience for quality. Will probably go back to Supercuts and travel a bit further to my old hairstylist who does a much better job or cross my fingers and try someone else.

Paul has been cutting my hair since ive been in diapers and I am now 28 years old… Paul is one of the nicest people I know and he can cut hair better then anyone around. He is always very talkative and keeps you very intertained when you are getting your haircut or waiting in line. He always has Frank Sinatra blaring in the shop as well.
