Love this place. I don’t know how someone can say the food has no flavor. Great selection of food and great prices. I just love it !

I was on a return trip from CT to NH last Friday night and Unilocal suggested this as a good Chinese place. First, I found the food very bland and uninteresting. Second, I don’t think soy hot-dogs go in Chinese food. Third, I had asked for white rice and when my meal came it was clearly brown rice. When I pointed this out to the server, he looked at me and stated that was white rice as if it was obvious and walked away. However, my biggest issue is that 24 hours after I used a particular little used debit card at this restaurant last Friday night it started getting all kinds of unauthorized hits in several other states. I rarely use this card in public and no, I do not frequent questionable websites. I have given all the pertinent information to the bank to pursue.

Consistent, tasty, 100% vegan food. The menu is large and features vegan versions of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese dishes. The menu is very descriptive so you know exactly what to expect, even if you’ve never been there before. This time, I ordered a rice dish and my boyfriend ordered a noodle dish. We also shared one of the appetizer platters. The price is reasonable(especially helpful if you’re thinking of visiting Nancy Chang’s for vegan food, which is right across the street), and the quality is consistent. Good to eat in or take out.

Delicious food, great for vegetarians, and their menu item names always manage to squeeze a chuckle out of me. Plus, they deliver. Only von is sometimes I feel like their isn’t enough sauce on the food, but some people are into that, I guess.

I was so happy to discover Worcester had a Loving Hut! The menu is totally overwhelming for a vegetarian used to having only a few options to choose from. but in a good way. The mushroom appetizer(the name is escaping me) was delicious. The steamed dumplings were just eh. Both entrees we ordered were quite good, though maybe a bit lacking in the heat department. I only wish they had more alternatives that didn’t go the«fake meat» route.

The server was absolutely horrible. Completely disrespectful. Being new to vegan food, I ordered the House Special noodle dish. My guest and I were given tea with no eating utensils and no sugar. We had to seek out our server to take our orders as he took too long to come see us(even though there was only one party there), and didn’t take the dirty plates or refill our waters. We got the living rolls, which were okay. I also ordered the flan. Neither had much flavor. My guest received her meal 10 minutes before mine, so we decided to eat it right away together since mine was taking so long. The entrée I ordered was not as I expected and I did not want it after all– I was unable to stomach it because it was so unappetizing. They gave me a very hard time when I told them I did not want it, saying I should have read the description and that the hard noodles would soften if I left them in the sauce long enough. Like I want to eat cold soggy food?! Upon receiving the bill, I was upset to see that they did not take the entrée off the bill and I had to find the server at the hostess’ station in the back. I told him I could not eat it and he argued with me and making me feel as if it were my fault. Customer service was awful. He disappeared into the back where I heard him and another employee yelling in another language, and he came back to finally scribble it off the bill, telling me to not get that dish and to read the description of the meals the next time I came in. Next time? Yeah right!

Awesome food and service! I had drumsticks and a noodle dish with seitan and veggies(can’t remember the name) and it was soooo good. But really, this place is always amazing! Service was great too, great pace and very welcoming! I only wish there was a Loving Hut closer to me!

I love it here — the staff is always super friendly. The wonton soup is amazing, but my favorite thing is the amazing drumsticks! I’m addicted. Might not be the healthiest option on the menu, but they have a lot of variety between vegan«junk» food and healthier options. Also, try«gods rice noodle»…very good!

I was unfortunately let down by the food here — I was really excited, looking forward to the meat alternatives. I got delivery, so I hope maybe upon a second try and a true visit to the restaurant I will find better quality and nice ambiance. Our food was almost all fried in batter, which just didn’t feel healthy. I know one of my items definitely didn’t mention batter. I may try this again if I am desperate and ran out of other places to try in Worcester first.

Selection of food and food itself gets 5 stars. The inside of this joint is small and cramped and service was a nightmare. Parking is no treat, just get take out and you’ll be all set.

Having eaten in their New York location, I really had no idea what to expect here when I saw that it was Vietnamese vegan. And in fact, I was wondering how they were going to pull off Vietnamese vegan, since Vietnamese food is typically so heavy in pork, shrimp, and fish sauce. My concerns were in vain, fortunately. The spring rolls were exceptional, and the bun bo even more so. The place is small, the location isn’t great, but there is plenty of street parking, so this place is absolutely, definitely, 100% a keeper!

As a vegan with celiac disease this sort of restaurant is right up my alley. I did not mind the videos playing on several wall mounted displays with news of The Supreme Master, but it seems to indicate the owners are vegan for religious reasons. It seemed at least half of the items on the menu were available as gluten free, and my extremely sensitive gut had no complaints at all. I visited in a party of 7, all family, and just as we arrived a party of 11 also appeared. This may have been the reason for the very poor service. About half an hour went by between when the first member got his meal and when mine finally arrived — but only after my sister read them the riot act. So, the service was disorganized at best. At one point they wanted to serve us a dish another party had ordered. The food itself was excellent. My brother, a confirmed meat eater with no experience in vegan dining was very impressed, and said the flavors were excellent. I had a rice noodle dish with curry sauce. The curry had wonderful aromatic overtones and was delicious, I would have preferred for it to be more spicy, but that did not ruin the deliciousness. The rice noodles were thick, like vermicelli. A member of our group who is not 3 years old yet decided to fidget and fuss, as little ones will, and they were tolerant and pleasant anyway. I would definitely go back, but not in a large group, as the table service seems to be their Achilles heel. Prices are very low, and the quality of the food is high.

I’ve been here a few times, and I’ve always enjoyed the flavor. The amazing drumsticks are really AMAZING, and the soups, and curry are good as well. I’ve noticed that the portions are better here than at the Hamilton St. location, but more dishes are fried here(each bit of veggie chicken/meat is battered and fried). So my solution thus far has been to go to this Loving Hut and actively choose the dishes that are the least fried. They will also sometimes make substitutions if you ask. Anyways, delicious place!

This place is wonderful! After some convincing, my partner and I went here to try the vegan food and see if it is really as good as it sounds. Fortunately, it has been an outstanding experience! We were uncertain as to how the vegan«meat» would be and it is remarkably tasty; there is truly no difference. Especially with the«Amazing Drumsticks». My partner is definitely a «carnivore» and he loves the food here! Additionally, the food always comes out with a nicely laid presentation on the plate. They clearly put care into these meals. Meanwhile, the prices are very affordable, which allows us to enjoy an appetizer with our meal and still keep our cost low. Besides the food, the customer service is the best I have seen! They are always very friendly and accommodating here. The manager and/or owner always comes out to say hello and make sure that we are enjoying our meal. The atmosphere is quite peaceful and calming here, as well. I always leave here feeling at ease and content with my meal. Even inspired to consider trying some vegan meals at home. Overall, I can’t say enough about The Loving Hut. I highly recommend visiting if you would like a fantastic meal!

I get worried when a waiter/waitress takes my order without writing anything down… but it was all perfect! Even after ordering like 8 things! Nice people, good food, beautiful plants everywhere… ** If you are looking for«healthy», be careful ordering fried food — even though there is no animal bi-product you’re still looking at quite a bit of oil. But it tastes great! ** Even my carnivore husband who vowed to never again let me shove fake meat in his face … even HE loved it. So another victory.

E54. Thai General, you are always on my mind. Everything I try is above and beyond expectations. Veggies are always fresh and crisp and«meats» cooked to perfection. I have ordered N29. Veggie Lo Mein, E45. Healthy Sesame Broccoli, A13. Sweet Coco-Taro and I enjoy the desserts so much, a friend of mine surprised me with a slice of carrot cake and cheese cake he picked up from one of the Worcester Loving Hut locations before his 6 hour drive for a visit on my birthday. Made my day. I get excited for my Worcester trips and the chance to explore more appetizers, soups and entrees with my cherished E54. I desperately need to get into that freezer by the register chocked full of goodies… Give Loving Hut a try, you won’t be disappointed. Be sure to call ahead!
