Kurlan Music Center

I drove by the other day. The shop was closed and empty. I think they are out of business.

For buyers, they seem to carry only very low quality goods, but, that’s not the real issues here…
I brought three things in to be fixed/​maintenanced. All three came back with exactly the same problems. One item I think got worse. I brought one of the items back to have them take another look, and they just told me the guitar didn’t have the issue. It was a jack cutting out problem… kinda hard to miss. I had it fixed elsewhere. Anyway three strike rule. Also… I had to keep calling them to check on my item progress, and were talking a couple months…
This review comes after another «stand up». I was aware by stopping by several times in the past that this store carries «whenever» hours… that is, whenever they feel like working, getting up, etc… Last Friday I was told their Luthier would be in by 1pm today (Monday) to take a look at a guitar and evaluate issues I think it has with the neck. They weren’t even open.
Honestly if you can only walk to a music store and you live in the area, give up music before going there… They have a sign on the front that says voted Worcesters number 1 music store… but that was most likely in the late 70’s, early 80’s.
