We stopped in here for an impromptu easy going dinner on a Monday night and were pleasantly surprised… Galway’s is ½ take out restaurant, ½ pub. We stopped in to the pub, which is your basic dark bar with old wooden booths and bunches of Guinness beer signs on the walls, further furnished by every imaginable«Ireland» poster and plaque this side of the Island itself. Its walk up service aka gotta go order and pick up at the bar, but it can be kinda nice not being bothered every 10 minutes by waitresses. We got the hot pastrami, and 2 pizzas — white and buffalo chicken. Sandwich was delicious and really big, served with chips(lame) or option of fries for .75. My buffalo chicken pizza was really really good, loaded with flavorful juicy chicken, served with a side of hot sauce and blue cheese. **for you buffalo lovers out there, thought i should mention they make the pizza normally with red sauce, not the typical hot sauce under the cheese, so if the combo of the buffalo chicken with the red sauce is as gross to you as it is me, go for no sauce — i did and was quite happy with the delicious decision** The white pizza was mediocre for me, in it could have had a bit more flavor as the ricotta was a bit boring and lacked spice all together, but my aunt still loved it. Only downside was that it took a very long time for our food to come out(40 mins and we were 1⁄3 tables eating in there) but their food made up for our troubles with delicious goodness. Will be going back!
