All right, this place is a hub. Spend twenty minutes here and you will run into four people you know, a few crack heads, some welfare moms buying smokes and a seemingly endless number of city workers and construction trucks. Why? Because the food is actually pretty decent and it’s smack dab in the urban center of a large city, but the big win is the coffee, which is only 99c for any size and it’s fresh and hot, or fresh and iced if that’s your bag. If you want food you order it from a computer screen so you can pretend you work there. I grabbed a turkey sandwich using the screen and it was actually pretty fresh.

Free coffee today! My first experience with ordering coffee at Cumbies. The do have a drive thru if you’d like to be served coffee and breakfast– and as i just learned, anything in the store except lottery tickets, but if you’re inside, you need to make your coffee yourself(normally 99 cents a cup). Pastry(donuts, muffins) is limited, but good. You also need to order bagels(only plain and everything) and all breakfast sandwiches by the computer touchscreen, then they will call your number when ready. Pretty efficient, and cheap if you want to do the work. Coffee is good. Store is well stocked, and plenty of gas pumps outside.
