I’ve been twice and haven’t been happy with the food. Won’t be returning. Had to actually send back my meal once, which I never ever do. I’ll usually just scarf it down so I don’t seem rude. It was just too bad though. Waitresses were extremely nice though

I have been to the Burrito Company a handful of times since moving to the area three years ago. It seemed to get worse with each visit, and last night’s was definitely the last. First off, the chips that were placed at the table were burnt and tasted more like an eggroll wrapper than a corn tortilla. I had a Margarita, and it was the only thing they got right. My friend had a drink of theirs called The Mexican, which is a mixture of tequila and midori. Im not sure what mellon liquor has to do with Mexico, but mixing it with tequila(seemingly 4 to 1) creates an undrinkable concoction. Next up was entrees. My friend had the fajita chicken salad, and I had the chicken fajita burrito. We both had the same complaints about the chicken. It was overcooked, dry, and aggressively over-seasoned. Finally the check came and lo and behold the practically untouched drink we told our waitress was unpleasant was still on the bill. At that point we had been there for an hour(for one round of drinks and two simple entrees, this is too long) so instead of prolonging our experience we paid and left. Unfortunately, this will be our last visit to The Burrito Company.

White People«Mexican food», you know, like taco bell. Nachos with cheese SAUCE is a menu item. This seems to be a sangria and margaritas bar, food must be an afterthought. About the Margarita, acual sour mix is used, the stuff in a plastic jug that is the same color and consistency of antifreeze. The nicest thing I can say about my burrito, it was wrapped up tight and they put it in a press. The beef had zero seasoning. The iceberg lettuce was almost chopped, not finely sliced. I also was lucky to have the white center of the head of lettuce all to myself. The waitress asked us to hold on, so she could place her many pound cold cut order to a local deli, in the dining room in a super loud voice. My wife had the order of 2 tacos, as did her father. They were sad excuses of tacos. The wrap was flour not corn. The meat was the same unseasoned mess that was in my burrito. They put a sprinkle of cheese and lettuce on top. She didn’t even eat half of one of them. They were that bad. The chips were good, but also flour, not corn.

We dig this place. There’s not a ton of seating, but this place always delivers! Great food. Amazing beverages. Although it wasn’t until my 3rd or 4th time there that someone told me all the jars were fermenting alcohol and that is how they make their margaritas and sangria! I’d have tried a flavored Rita sooner had I known that. Food is always fresh and large portions. Small patio outside is great for warm weather.

Have been to and met friends at Burrito many times. The revolving margarita flavors are phenomenal. The menu options are low priced and generously portioned. We’re not always crazy about the service. Even on evenings where it is not that crowded we feel hovered over when it is time to pay the check. Wish it was more of the European style — let us drink and laugh and we might order more drinks and your tip would get bigger! Other than that highly recommended.

A very pleasant surprise, kind of in the middle of nowhere. The infused liquors were a nice bonus to great food & service.

Nice atmosphere, very friendly, decent service, really bland food. Disappointed that there was no Mexican beer on tap. The beef in the burrito had no spice, like plain hamburger. The chips that came with the salsa were very thick and hard. The menu was small, not alot of pork or seafood options. The rice and beans were also on the bland side. Not sure if i would try it again.

Used to be our favorite place for Mexican. New menu, no specials, service blah. Portions were not as large as in the past, which we would not mind if everything wasn’t straight out of a micro. Tacos had no seasoning, rice was bland and the taco shells were stale. Wings were NOT the same tasty wings we had there before So disappointing

My girlfriend and I had a groupon for The Burrito Company so we decided to head there some Wednesday night, I think it was. We parked in the hospital parking lot across the street. The end of the lot is pretty empty and I had a good view of it from our table so I think we were safe. We were surprised with how classy it was on the inside. We kind of arrived late in the night but they still had an hour and a half or so before they closed up. The place was pretty empty, as it would be on a Wednesday night, and so we figured we would receive our food quickly. That wasn’t really the case and I’m not sure how excusable that is given that there wasn’t any crowd. The food arrived and it looked and smelled great. It tasted pretty good but nothing spectacular. Our waitress clearly wanted us to eat and get the hell out, too. This is something I never understood: it’s practically dead, wouldn’t you want some customers in order to bring home some money? I would come here to eat if you want common Mexican food taste but better quality ingredients. Aside from the atmosphere, there’s not much reason for us to return. The taste is average and the service was a little below average. We don’t eat here any more.

I had fish tacos which were delicious. I also had a black bean salad which was sparse and tasteless. The beans tasted canned. It’s a cute place with good service. Just skip the salad.

When I moved to Woonsocket earlier this year I started searching for local places to eat. I found this place via Unilocal and I was excited to try it out because it was down the street and had a pretty good rating. When I finally went there for dinner, I was very underwhelmed. The place looks promising from the outside. The inside is decent too, although it feels a bit bright and open, which isn’t my preference for a dinner spot but that’s just my personal preference. The hostess and waitress were very nice and my two stars are based solely on that. The food itself was VERY generic tasting and lacked much in the way of flavor. I ordered the fajita burrito and I’ve honestly had better food at a lot of other places. The second part of the equation for me were the prices. They’re just too expensive for the product they serve. I think you pay for the«ambiance». Basically this place has the potential to be a good restaurant but their menu is very bland and boring. I REALLY wanted to like this place but I can’t recommend it. Don’t come here expecting anything special food-wise.

The worst Mexican meal I have ever eaten. One of the worst meals of any type I have ever eaten. The cheese nachos were made of this horrid, bland white sauce that didn’t taste remotely like actual cheese. The texture was even worse than the taste. The rice was awful. The combination of runny beans(which did not taste like it was flavored with Mexican spices whatsoever), olives and lettuce with the above-mentioned«cheese» sauce was nauseating. In short, the food is gross.

Very disappointed with this place. At first glance it looks very nice for a small Mexican joint, the smell was delicious as well. I was greeted immediately by a very nice lady who went right away to get my order. Everything was fine until I got back to my destination to eat. I opened up the box and noticed two VERY small sides of Spanish rice and unseasoned black beans… Really? I ordered a vegetarian burrito, as did my cousin, with a side of watery guacamole($ 4 a half pint I believe) which wasn’t on the menu. They filled it with giant chunks of weird things like soggy white onion, maybe roasted peppers? I’ve never had guac like that. The beans in the burrito were unseasoned as well and it was cold! There was some type of runny liquid dripping out with every bite and I made sure to take a picture in case anyone is wondering. Maybe people who rated this place don’t know good Mexican but I can say for sure that this doesn’t do it justice. Go to Chipotle.

First off, I was teetering between 3 – 4 starts for a few reasons; I’m leaving the chance to still get 4 in the future. Upon entering we were hit with a wave of delicious smells filling the restaurant! We were quickly and promptly assisted and seated. The space indoors is rather small but there is also a full bar taking up some space; along with the availability of outdoor seating. Our server quickly brought us chips and salsa and then took our drink orders. Decided to go with a local brew of blueberry beer, which turned out to be pretty damn good. I was starving so I quickly looked over the menu and decided to go with the chicken enchiladas — which came in a sauce and with sides of rice and beans. As the food arrived I started shoveling at top speed — had I been less hungry I may have been more put off with the fact that my food seemed to be quite cool on the inside. Which in most cases they tell you to be careful with enchiladas as they can harbor lots of heat. This is one of the factors that went in to the 3 star decision. The second reason was this — while up until it came time for the check, the service was very very fast and attentive. Somewhere after boxing up my leftovers and bringing us the check we had to wait some time for our server to come back and take the payment. I’me leaving room for a second experience and hopefully not having the same issues for my next visit. I did however eat my leftovers the following evening — I decided to toss them into the oven to make sure they were really hot to give them a second taste test — and amazing! I may have been more thrown off because of the temp. of my food — so this is definitely worth a stop if you’re getting a meal or even just a few drinks and some appetizers.

We ordered a veggie burrito and ensalada. Food was good but only two stars as there was so much wait(waited for food like 30 mins). Had a groupon so checked this out. They have very less vegetarian options so being veggie I am may not return back. To be honest chips and salsa was great. Been in San Diego for a while and always craving for mexican food. This place would have been better if they had more veggie options. (P.S. Mexican food and just one veggie option … disappointed)

My next experience consisted of simply sitting at the bar. The bartender was so friendly and attentive with a big smile on her face(I believe she may be one of the owners). The fish tacos that were on special were also delicious. This experience is definitely a step up from my past experience, so I’m updating my rating to consist of 4 stars. Thanks Burrito Company!
