I have to admit I was a bit hesitant making an appointment after reading the previous reviews but I’m glad I ignored them. Abbi was the individual that took care of my mani & pedi and what an experience. Abbi was such a delight, friendly, and gentle. She engaged in conversation instead of ignoring you. It was great to have my nails done by someone I could hear and understand. Abbi made sure I was happy all through the service. I especially like how they do not use the whirlpool type of foot baths but an individual tub that is lined with a disposable liner. I don’t have to worry about germs. The owner and other staff were very kind and sweet as well. Even though today was a snowy day and I was the first appointment, they opened on time. I made an appointment at the last minute and was able to get in. I will be getting my nails taken care of here from now on.

I just HAVE to say for the person who said she gave them one star… I hope everyone pays careful attention to this review to realize it DOSENT make any sense! First they said that their visits were sporadic and the results were just as sporadic… And the last time the highlights were terrible… Then in the «update» they mentioned that they «always drive 45 min. To go there» ok… So if you had. Bad experience 1 time why would you go back… 2 times DEFINITELY not going back but then to get highlight… And THEN after they were «messed up» I wouldn’t go BACK! But apparently they did… I have NEVER walked in there and not been greeted by at LEST 3 people! If Laura is there, she DOSENT just say hi, she greats you with a friendly smile and a good fun conversation!!! Callie and Abbey have stations up front and ALWAYS GREET EVERYONE with a bright smile!!!
I’m just saying it doesn’t make much sense!

I’ve been going to The Cookoo’s Nest since I was a little kid! I’m now 32 and still go there for most of my haircuts and such even though I have moved to PA. I enjoy the atmosphere and everyone is very friendly. I am always offered a coffee or something and a snack while I’m waiting under the dryer. They’re pretty laid back, which makes me feel relaxed, but if you’re in a hurry, they will help you get out quicker. I also used them for my wedding day over a year ago and it was a great experience. I loved the way my hair came out, it was exactly my style. They gave me a timeline for when to get my highlights done and to try out the style I’d use for the big day. They did a great job on all my bridesmaids and my mom too!

I’m guessing they saw my previous review and were offended. Anyway, I had previously scheduled an appointment for a Keratin treatment. When I walked in ten minutes early, I walked through the back door, past all the stylists, and no one said hello. I said hi to Laura, the owner, and walked up to the desk. When no one materialized to check me in, I sat down to wait. After ten minutes, another lady walked in and they instantly walked up to her.
As the stylist was rushing away, I hailed her down to let her know of my appointment. She said shed let my stylist know.
And then I waited. Half an hour, with no one acknowledging me, nor telling me what the hold up was. I then decided to leave, again walking past all of the stylists. Again, ignored.
I’ve given this place my business for years upon years. I drove 45 minutes to get to Woodstown. But will I ever be back?
No. No no, no way in this lifetime.
