If you want to take a road trip and enjoy the sites of Northern New England and finish it up with a great meal Woodstock Pizza Chef is the place you want to visit! Great tasting pizza. Plenty of other items on the menu to fill everyone’s appetite. We enjoyed the Salad the fries and everything we ate. In the summer time, the owner does BBQ chicken on rotisserie. This is not a fancy high end pizza place, but it is a great place to eat.

Was just okay and the vegetable pizza was decent with fresh vegetables. Dude at The counter has a sort of an attitude and looked unhappy. The cheese pizza lacked any taste. Sauce tasted like it was made in the toilet.

This place is a typical small town pizza joint. If that’s what you are looking for, it is perfectly serviceable. The pizza is edible, but 2 stars. The wait was about 10 – 15 minutes for two pizzas, and the place was completely empty at lunchtime. The owners have two kids that run around the place while you eat. The pepperoni was burnt, but the sauce was okay. Price is $ 5-$ 10 per person. Overall, this is a lower-end house of pizza, but if your in the mood for pizza and in Woodstock, this is your place.

Last night we had the steak and cheese sandwich with tomato sauce! It was out of this world. We are from Philadelphia and have had the best, but this is a close rival, so for our next meal at Woodstock Pizza Chef, we will order the same, but with extra sauce, and maybe grilled onions. This was fabulous!

If you’re from out of state, you will not enjoy this pizza. I grew up on Long Island, so I have high expectations for my pizza. Very thick, hard crust, very little if none seasonings in the sauce, and cheese is bland. The subs are not too bad, but use the same boring sauce. Home made salad dressing is very, very good. Have recently seen signs for barbecued food. Vermont doesn’t really have great restaurants with the same theme as this, but always friendly people who enjoy their jobs and try at them. Right as you are headed out of Woodstock going east on four.(towards quechee/hartford)

Pizza is great and the service is great. Went with a group and orderd a large amount of pies and they had no trouble with it the order was set within a half hour. The best part is they threw in some popcorn chicken for FREE as a thank you for ordering so much.

We stumbled on this place late at night after stopping by(and leaving) some pricier options in Woodstock. We expected ho-hum pizza but were surprised to discover it’s actually not bad. We ordered two pies. A pesto pizza with spinach, mushrooms and olives and a tomato sauce pizza with artichokes, bell peppers, and jalapenos. The former was crispy and tasted delicious. The latter, on the other hand, was a bit soggy although it tasted fine. We also managed to finagle some Oktoberfest beers. All in all, a good place and worth stopping by if you’re not interested in paying $ 20 for an entrée in downtown Woodstock.

The pizza here was very mediocre. I only went once for take-out, and I’m never going back. I love thin crust pizzas, I love deep dish pizzas. I have been known to enjoy Pizza Hut. But this was a sad attempt at… wha??? It was just an anemic crust with a lot of topping on top. Not only was it soggy, it was bland. This is Vermont! Shouldn’t the cheese at least be good? The greek salad was okay.
