Poorly run bar. Management needs to assist when short staffed. They also need better quality mixers. Waiting 15 min for a drink when the bar is 1⁄3 full is ridiculous! Owners need to stop drinking and manage as well.

This place had been on my list for awhile now and I finally had the opportunity to dine here on a Saturday night. It’s Woodstock, GA so no a lot of diversity but the staff was awsome and we did not feel out of place. I tried the BBQ Pork sliders and my wife had the Ying Yang Sushi dish. Everything was tasty, just be careful with the drinks or download Über because you will need it! If your considering a visit. Go ahead and give it a try!

Loved our experience at Ice. My grapefruit martini was delicious. Ordered the Hurricane sushi which was very delicious. We also had the pork dim sum, beef and pork sliders which were awesome as well. Crab stuffed mushrooms weren’t as good as I was hoping but overall food was great. Very modern and welcoming atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a surprise birthday party for my daughter’s 18th birthday what a fantastic time we all had! Peggy the, owner of Blue Ice plus the manager George and wait staff Melody and Ian were especially fantastic. They have a VIP room that has a White leather sofas and a curtain that we had reserved. We ended up having more people show up than we had anticipated, staff rolled with us, more tables, more gorgeous tapas. beautiful food fantastic sushi in sparkly giant martini trays, huge sushi boat. Everybody felt taken care of everybody felt special. it was a wonderful evening. Peggy helped plan the surprise my daughter was completely thrilled, what a special night! thank you so much

We heard that Ice was a happening spot to go for some good beats and a party crowd. Not so much on a Friday night at around 11:30.

Went to Ice tonight and had a great time! The Good: The martinis were really good! They were strong but they didn’t taste overwhelming. I had the lemon drop and the buttercream dessert martini. Both were great! My husband had the Hawaiian and the Chocolate Lovers. The Hawaiian I thought was really good but my husband found it too sweet. I had the tuna carpaccio and it was really good. The Bad: My husband had the fiesta bites and while they were good, they were overpriced for what he got. They were pretty much just meatless nachos. The Ugly: When you walk in it looks very striking. Low lights, blue lights, chandeliers, and it looked almost like an Atlanta lounge. Almost. It desperately needs finishing touches. The paint finish doesn’t look great and you have to walk down this hall to get to the restroom. There are absolutely no decorations to make it look like a cohesive space. I asked if I was going the right wsy because I felt like I was walking into the kitchen. In the bathroom there’s a chandelier and a fancy sink but the toilets, tge soap dispenser, and the paper towel dispenser all look extremely cheap and takes away from the experience.

Ice was very nice! The wait staff is very cute and accommodating and the sushi is fresh. The atmosphere is very Modern cheek. Seating at the sushi bar is limited so get there before 7pm if you want a seat. The sushi is fresh and delicious. We ordered the Yin Yan, Volcano Roll all very tasty. On Wednesdays they have $ 5 beers and wine specials. The martinis are also very good. We had the Blue Martini which come with blue cheese stuffed olives — it was all very well presented and tasty. We will be coming back!

First time here. Sushi was really good. Fresh fish. The special was the spicey tuna roll. It was delicious. We also had the volcano, shrimp crunchy and the ying and yang. It was all good. Happy hour $ 5.00 mojito. Drinks were good, service was good. I would come again.

Great live music on the weekends. I know the martini bar isn’t where you usually go for dessert but they have an excellent crème bruelle. It is usually crowded in the weekend so expect to wait for a table. The restaurant itself is small as well.

This is my friend’s and my go-to spot for martinis; they make a killer dirty martini, as well as a great lemon drop martini. And I think the prices went up slightly lately, but they’re still around $ 8 a drink which is a nice change from what I’m used to(I lived in D.C. before this, where they take pleasure in gouging you). The sushi is fresh but a little pricey(but it’s sushi, which is to be expected; and also the drinks balance it out), and there are a few cheese dishes that are fabulous. All in all a great spot to meet up for drinks after work. Highly recommend!

Went there on a Saturday night with few friends. Ice was recommended to me by a co worker in Florida who had recently been there. «If your ever near Woodstock… you gotta go to this place.» So we did. Place was very busy but we were able to be seated at the bar until a table was available which was only a few moments. Drink menu is amazing! Hard to decide. Wide variety of Martinis. Food was just as great. Service was very professional and super courteous. The staff gives you the same attention you’d expect from an upscale place. For the experience… the price was totally fair. Everything was delicious. This is my new«go to» when in town! See you soon!

I was very disappointed with my experience here that I’m uncertain as if I would ever come back. Last Saturday night I went to this location and was told that the wait time was 15−35min. That’s an odd time to give as a wait time. Needless to say she went on by saying«oh and the bar is full so you can’t wait there.(rudely) I was okay with that, because my friend was excited about the football and I was excited about the martini’s so I asked if we could order a drink while we waited her response was«um I think they will let you do that» Okay by that time I was feeling as though our business wasn’t wanted. The hosts were two very young teenagers with obviusly no experience in customer service, professionalism or creating a good first impression for a striving business. I was so embarrassed because I had been talking about the place for over a year and was so excited to show my friend a good time for her 33rd, but because we were treated as though we were not wanted we didn’t bother to wait, even though we didn’t mind the wait time. This area still has racism and I was unaware of this before moving here last year. It’s sad because there are several resturants in that same location that are my favorite but because I was treated this way I wont feel comfortable patronizing them, I would just go to another area where everyone feels welcome. Ice I was overwhelmed with the idea of finally being able to enjoy your ambiance but unfortunately it’s obvious it’s not for people like myself.

My husband and I had a date night on a Saturday night. We had reservations. We were seated at a tiny table up against a walk. The chair was so wobbly. All the tables were so close together the waitresses and buss boys were really struggling. I’m honestly surprised it wasn’t against fire code. The table was so small we could only order 1 roll of sushi each. I had no room to sit my martini and they didn’t take our menus for some reason. The seating is a reason for a star loss. Service was very slow and the reason for one star loss. It was about a 30 min wait for each drink. I don’t care how good a drink is, 30 min is too long. Our food was brought much quicker than drinks but at different times. So one person would have to wait to eat until the other person got theirs. That’s annoying. I did enjoy the food and I thought the prices were fair. I didn’t like the dim sum that much though. I’ve had much better. I also got the red velvet cream cake. It was Sooo good. A huge portion served in a martini glass. I also don’t like the shared style waitressing– whatever it’s called. Normally it’s not bad, but it’s too damn small in there to be doing it that way. All it does is stress out staff and customers! One waitress per table PLEASE! Purses were being knocked off chairs because there is no room. Get rid of the couches and make more room for ppl to relax as they spend money in your establishment. Also, this is a weird complaint but the bathroom faucet is confusing! Lol Overall I’d try it out one more time and hope for better service!

Sushi was decent although the variety was limited. However waited over an hour for food, sat on claustrophobic backless bar stools in a very crowded, pretentious bar atmosphere for dinner. Kept getting bumped/hit by passer-byes as tables were crammed in. Spinach dip was tasteless. Service was slow, sporadic. Overpriced. When asked about our food after apps, seemed offended/disinterested in our experience thus far. Never checked back. Will not return.

Sushi and martini bar def pricey for people on a budget watch how you spend your money… They def had nice variety of drinks and willing to compromise on a flavor if they don’t have it. I asked for a watermelon mojito(def encourage ownership to place this on the menu pieces of watermelon in ice cubes or just fresh pieces of watermelon and it will be a hit) overall the other drinks looked delicious and made from fresh fruits, purées and syrups. Anyway, the sushi was good a bit pricey for the speciality rolls but worth a try. Skinny roll was def delicious but only 6 pieces for $ 15 dollars ouch my pocket hurt. I sat at the bar and she was nice.

AWESOMESUSHI … FINALLY!!! The best sushi I have had since moving from Southern California ten years ago. I have been eating sushi for over 30 years. Ice’s salmon is out of this world; great octopus; masago with quail egg is my favorite; Yin Yang Roll is another favorite that is good for beginners. Niki, the sushi chef, is a true Itamae-san(master sushi chef). He only offers the top grade fish available; no short cuts or substitutions. The desserts are decadent. I love the atmosphere; reminds me of West Coast hot spots. True sushi aficionados will appreciate Ice; there is nothing like it that I have found in a decade of searching the North Metro area.

We were interested in tapas and there was an hour-long wait at Century Tavern, so we wandered the strip for an alternative. I hesitated to come here because of the mixed reviews, but I’m very glad we did! We were seated immediately at the couches(perfect) so we were able to enjoy the live music(big plus) and still converse without trouble. Our server was extremely friendly, patient, and helpful. My dinner-mate wasn’t wild about her martini so our server promised that, if she didn’t like it, she’d take it off the bill. Sure enough my friend didn’t like it(personal taste only — it was a well-made cocktail), and our server happily brought a different martini. Our tapas were great! The menu is diverse so it was hard to decide, but we loved what we ordered and I have a feeling that, had we chosen differently, we still would have walked away happy. We didn’t get sushi but I did order the tuna carpaccio and it was of great quality. As for the atmosphere, live music during dinner was great, and after 9 the lounge-style vibe comes out, but not in an obnoxious way(I know you know what I mean.) 5 stars. Thanks guys!

My last review hit a nerve and was apparently too harsh so Ill amend it and keep this one simple… no attempt at humor, just the facts. Fact 1. The Kitchen was closed on a Saturday night at 10pm. Fact 2. The service was unprofessional and disorganized. We were told to go to Waffle House if we wanted food. Fact 3. Tables were unstable, wobbly and uncomfortable. Fact 4. Been in three times in an attempt to give it a real try, will not be in again and will let people know this is not where to go.

Fair prices, legit décor(they didn’t cut corners, weren’t lazy & actually made a unique splash in downtown Woodstock), THEBESTSUSHIINWOODSTOCK… could easily COMPETE with Buckhead, downtown Atlanta, midtown, etc… and WIN! Food quality was absolutely worth the drive(Marietta to Woodstock). Not sure how long they’ve been open but I’m pretty sure the server said 3 weeks(maybe months?). Our server could use some serious practice… but the food was so good I can’t even complain. Imagine colors of the Greek sea, crystal conglomerate chains… aluminium + white leather n metal bar stools… white marble slab bar… hints of electric blue lights.(don’t forget white couches). It doesn’t match downtown Woodstock and its PERFECT. Baked Mussels tapas were 3 for $ 7.50…and I ordered(x2) of them. If they would let me… I would just order 9 on one plate; devour them & call it a night. Classic sushi rolls like spicy tuna were enjoyable. Looking forward to trying the tapas bbq or teriyaki beef sliders next time. I had the Super Crunchy Shrimp tempura roll with extra eel sauce. Tuna carpaccio with slivers of avocado… nicely cut & well flavored. DRINKS: Featured a pumpkin martini(it was decent), $ 5 cosmo or something with blue cheese olive… We tried the pumpkin & I had a customized crown martini… both good but really lacked on the«COLD» glass feature. Their restaurant name has«martini» in it… i’m sure they’ll get this cold thing down. I’ve never seen a more funky sushi restaurant well on the right path. I hope once they get their feet wet they’ll get crazy & feature wild sushi specials! Every place has to have its calling card; right now its the baked mussels for me… cant wait to watch them evolve because they’re serving it up well as of NOV2012. Side note: something about reserving rooms in the restaurant, like vip booth? I dont know, we ate near the bar on the couch, I was happy with the view.
