I have spent a lot of time at this Horse park over the years. It is a great spot to board your horse with plenty of open areas and several outdoor riding arenas to practice trotting, jumping, dressage, etc. There are some nicely shaded areas with seating for those who are watching the riders. The stables are quality, the staff is friendly, and it is also a beautiful location. I always enjoy my time spent out at The Horse Park at Woodside.

I saw a cyclist almost get killed while he was riding by the horse park. The driver stopped and harassed the cyclist and got in his face. I stopped to talk to the cyclist to see if he was ok. It was a little disturbing to see the cyclist get bullied. He said the driver who go out of his car to fight with him was an employee of horse park. A few weeks later I dropped my daughter off here for a birthday party, and another employee was fighting with ANOTHER cyclist. It was the same guy from before! Since I was in my car pulling out, I asked what was going on. This cyclist said the guy took a right turn in front of her and ran her off the road intentionally. Then the employee berated her with insults. The woman asked for my number because she wanted to call the police. I didn’t want to get wrapped up in it, but there is someone here who clearly has a problem and is a liability. The guy has blond curly hair, early 30s, looks a little rough around the edges, and has a white truck with no front bumper. It is amazing you can be in the technology capital of the world, with most of the worlds wealth concentrated, then cross 280, and deal with people who live like barbarians.

Spring Classic Show going on this weekend. The Woodside Horse shows are well run and the venue is stunning with the surrounding views of the hills and SF Bay. Though we are huge fans of the Pebble Beach Shows(since our home is nearby in Carmel), the shows here are the next best thing!

We don’t own horses, but we’re glad that Woodside is so equestrian-friendly, and this place looks like the ultimate playground for your four-legged friends. The membership fees are not cheap, but if you own a horse, you already must have disposable income, so it’s probably not a big deal. The 240+ acres are lovely, and it looks to be a very nice place.
