Tacos and tortas are really good, I usually do chorizo tacos and carnitas tortas. Prices increased recently, tacos are now $ 3 each, while tortas are $ 7. The guy next to me was munching on tostadas and they looked just as good as everything else. They don’t skimp on meat or toppings and have a nice green sauce. Also there are sautéed onions and green peppers in a jar you can add to your dish, another plus.

I tried this last night and have to say I stopped searching for authentic Mexican in NYC3 years ago, but this is a must try for those who have grown up with the real deal. I ordered a chicken and a beef tongue, though I have had better beef tongue in California this was perhaps above average and rather tasty. Nothing bland here or overly seasoned, the young women are seasoned chefs. Also, the green chile sauce is spot on. A bit odd was that they asked if I wanted it for here or to go several times and each time I asked for here. Once the order was ready they handed it to me, in a to go bag.

Its located right under the woodside subway station. they look sketchy because its under the bridge, but its very good. The carne enchilada, lengua and steak tacos($ 2.50 each) were all very tasty. quick service as well. not the best i’ve had, but for the quick service and good tacos, i’ll definitely come back.

Tacos y Quesadillas Mexicanos located right under the Roosevelt Ave 61 St. 7 stop is serving some delicious street tacos. Street tacos the backbone of the food truck industry and this truck is a solid spot. You know something good is happening here when there is a line. A very diverse line of hungry people; locals, foodies, commuters, etc. This is a great sign for me when I patrol a truck. Now, the food. I have had carnitas, pastor and my favorite carne enchiladas tacos. They are all solid choices, but the carne enchilada taco is a step above. All the tacos here are prepared to order and are packed with good stuff. Flavor is key and their tacos have that sazon. Delicious. Meat is tender, moist with 2 corn tortillas top with cilantro, onions, guac sauce and spicy sauce; lime and radish on side. Very tasty with flavor. An explosion of taste buds with that«this is so good feeling». Tacos y Quesadillas Mexicanos, ranks right up there with my favorite taco trucks. The two guys on Friday nights are pumping out some delicious food. The tacos are a definite must.

My local taco truck. Always loves me. Always there for me. Walk out of the Woodside station at any ridiculous hour of night — if you’re smelling something tasty, it’s coming from this truck. The tacos are as great as taco truck tacos can be: $ 2.50(cheaper than Rey de Oro), hefty enough with the filling that you can split it between the two corn tortillas. Choose from 10 or so different proteins: . They don’t skimp, and the meat is never dry. If you want it picante, they’ll fold in some jalapeño, but pile on the pico, jalapeño, and onion yourself. What I actually come here for are the tortas. $ 6, way more portable — and it’s like eating three tacos at the same time, because that’s how I roll. I’ve gotten these with various proteins also. The best one is al pastor. Oreja(pig ear) was never meant to be encased in bread. Ignore the name: the quesadillas are made with corn tortillas instead of flour and are mediocre. Ignore the ambiance: you’ll feel like a troll wolfing down not-so-clever goats under a rotting bridge. Just know that the goats are tasty.

Great location, better prices and more meat options than El Rey. Taste is pretty on par with El Rey, I think. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area!

Had the tacos and they were excellent ate them right at the cart. So there were pigeons every where, the 7 train running over head and cars and trucks beeping on Roosevelt ave and it’s the best restaurant I have eaten in for awhile ! Next time gonna bring a date ;)

Just moved to Queens and had to check this place out. I got tacos — chicken and al pastor. The chicken was good. The al pastor was really good. This will be my go to spot to satisfy a sudden Mexican food craving.

I grew up in the lower Mid-Hudson Valley-black-dirt-farm-areas. I ate fresh Mexican food regularly. it was great. I’ve never been to Cancun. I’ve never been to Acapulco. I’ve been to Juarez. I love real Mexican food. This isn’t it. I ordered chicken tacos. They barely had any cilantro or onions on them and were slathered with supermarket bought fake guac??? I asked for crema and got none???

I come here at least twice a week. The tacos here are amazing and so cheap. Also the Cuban sandwich is so good and just full of every damn meat you can find as well as a fried egg which not many places do. Value, flavor, service. Sometime the wait is long because everyone comes here but it’s so worth the wait.

I love tacos, I love burritos, but what I love most of all is a cart or truck that has quality and spicy burritos and tacos and other quality Mexican dishes on the cheap and available late into the night. This stalwart truck nestled under the 61 St-Woodside LIRR and 7 subway line is as good as it gets when it comes to cart food. Everything I have had there is delicious from the Carne Asada tacos to the chorizo burritos. They have tortas and many other Mexican street foods but I have the things I like and try and sample all of the various incarnations of the burrito and taco. The food is fast, fresh and flavorful and prob some of the best Mexican food in the neighborhood.

My last meal in four days of running up and down the #7 train line in Queens hunting great food is right here at a simple cart. That moment when you don’t even bother thinking about checking the rating on place before making a decision to eat. I mean, after all, isn’t that pretty annoying? Yea, sure, I do it plenty, but I took a chance here and absolutely scored. Little risk, really. There are *so* many good eateries within a few blocks of here that if you aren’t good you’re gonna get your butt handed to you on a platter. Three tacos to go, eaten standing up(Tip: spread your legs wide). Pollo with a splash of avocado, carnitas and beef. Double wrapped corn tortillas, sprinkle of onions, cilantro and a couple of limes to squeeze onto each. Simply a mouth watering experience. Fresh, clean, bursting with the complicated goodness that a taco provides by mingling the protein of the meat with the burst of onion scent, the aromatics of the cilantro, the citrus burn from the lime, a touch of sauce. A match made in heaven. Finishing the last bite I wiped my fingers on the single napkin provided, dumped the sack into the trash and slung my bag over my shoulder and headed to the bus that would take me to La Guardia. As an ever so slight rain hit the bus on the way to my flight I was already missing the phenomenal food experience that is Queens. My work here is done. I’ll be back.

After reading so many great reviews on Unilocal about this truck, I just had to give it a try. Its only about 3 blocks from my house and last night when my fiancé and I got hungry around midnight I decided to walk down to 61st street and give this truck a go. Well, Im glad I did because this place has some reeeaaally good chicken burritos and steak quesadillas. The portions are great so I ate half of the burritto last nigh and the other half today for lunch. Im so glad to have found this truck especially since its so close by. I definitely will be going back for more… maybe again tonight :)

When it comes to tacos in Woodside/Sunnyside area, I would say this is the 2nd to Taco Rey De Oro underneath the 52nd train station. The prices are a little bit higher and they are a bit inconsistent. I’ve had a couple of tacos from here that were dry and some that were outstanding. I would recommend the bistec(beef) and carnitas(pork). I believe they are open almost 24/7, I see them almost all day long from morning commutes to late night encounters so kudos to them.

Best taco cart in NYC. I’ve travelled all up and down the 7 line, from Corona to LIC and this is still my favorite. Huaraches fit for bigfoot. Carnitas, chorizo and carne enchilada are all the best I’ve had. The cemitas are good and also enormous. You need a place to eat it, though, as everything is a bit overstuffed. If you don’t live nearby, there are a couple of pubs on 61st that don’t serve food and always let me bring it in. I make excuses to go back to Woodside so I can grab a meal here.

Underneath the Woodside-61st Street subway station is a Mexican food cart that has been there for a long time. They are there until very late at night and serve amazing. authentic Mexican food. I especially like their tacos, cemitas, and tortas. You can choose these items with beef, chicken, chorizo, tongue, carnitas and more! The flavor and spice in their food is a million times better than most of the fancier pseudo-Mexican places you find in Manhattan. I highly recommend this cart. They sell bottles of Jarritos soda as well.
