I love this place. across the street from my apt and opens late… might be 24⁄7 but I’m not sure It is mostly americanized chinese food but it is much better than things you will taste in manhattan Singapore Chow Fun is really awesome. Mai fun noodles with a hint of spicy curry with BIGBIGSHRIMPS The Beef and Broccoli is really good as well. Sometimes they might be too saucy but mixed in with the rice it is perfect The fried chicken is a bit small but perfect crispiness Oh did I mention this place is very very cheap

A good takeout joint, but a few tables there too — usually pretty fast with my order — some favorites are house special lo mein, eggplant with garlic sauce, roast pork egg foo young combo, sweet & sour pork combo, chicken wings, & beef noodle soup(that is a special– ask if available). Owners are nice too.

Panda Garden is kind of a cute name for a Chinese take out place. So an extra .5 star for their name if I could. This review would actually be 3 ½ stars if possible. But please don’t expect to eat any pandas here. –The food here is like any other Chinese take out restaurant. If you are craving Chinese food, you can stop here for sure to fulfill your cravings, but I don’t feel like anything here blew my mind. *There are seats for you to dine in, maybe enough to seat two or three families of 4 actually. –The restaurant is located right on the main streets of the Woodside area, so you can actually do some people watching on the small flow of people who pass by the window while eating. *The service is just quick and efficient. Not especially polite or anything, its just taking your order, and then you sit and wait for your food, and go home type of place. Overall, it’s good for take out on your days off if you enjoy Chinese food :)

I used to like this restaurant not after I complained yesterday about an uncooked squid I purchased last Monday and they were pretending they did not remember or understand me and did not even offer an apology or offer to refund and replace the dish.

I haven’t ate here in years but I was close by and very hungry so it was a stop in and fill my tummies needs. Ordered the general tso chicken with pork fried rice. It had a good amount of chicken inside but was way over fried for my liking. The pork fried rice was just ok. The portion size was huge and that’s about all. I didn’t eat much of my meal was a little turned off by the lady behind the counter eating and her fingers going in her mouth and then putting people’s orders together. I was grossed out. Lady take your lunch break in the back and not in front of customers. Gross even though the place looked clean and had A grade posted on the door. I will not return ever! I wish I checked the previous Unilocal reviews before hand. The only reason I didn’t check before was because I’ve been here in the past.

Um I don’t know what you guys are eating that you feel is 5 stars but this place is horrible. I normally go to Hunan K on queens blvd but decided to explore. Bad idea. I ordered shrimp and broccoli, the shrimp was extra soft and weird looking, the broccoli didn’t taste fresh. My food was soaked in nasty oil. I had to throw it all away and ordered from Hunan who has fresh non oily food at all times. This is why I hate Chinese food. Shameee.

Good chinese food! Delivery is always timely. Spare ribs aren’t too sweet or salty. Broccoli is cooked perfectly. Restaurant itself is not that clean.

Avoid sesame chicken or general tsos chicken, its all filler barely any chicken anymore. You get what you pay for. Their other stuff is not so bad.

This is Chinese food at its worst. Twice I’ve gotten sick. Whatever you do stay away from the sesame chicken and the spot in general if you can

This Chinese fast food place offers generous portions of food! I ordered the Broccoli with garlic sauce over pork fried rice and was totally amazed by the amount of food they gave me. Not only was the portion large, so was my appetite because the food was very good. I’d come here again just for take-out.

For takeout this place was great. The gentleman working at the counter spoke English very well and understood what I was asking for and even offered me different styles of making it. Prices are on par with any local takeout and the food was good. This place gets 4 stars especially though for their working air conditioning unit and the overall cleanliness of the tables and waiting area. There are not many takeouts I would say I would eat in, however, this is one. Metered parking in front.

To me a Chinese take-out is a Chinese take-out. You do it when you have nothing to eat around the house and not much money to go out. However, lately I’ve been obsessed with NYC restaurant grades and will only eat at places with a grade of A. That’s how I came across Panda Garden, while searching for restaurants in my area with that grade. Not only did it meet that requirement, but also ended up excelling in other ways. On the two different occasions I’ve ordered delivery, the order was taken precisely, the delivery was fast and friendly and the dinner was DELICIOUS. Very impressed. My new go-to place.

It’s not real chinese food, BUT it’s damn yummy chinese TAKEOUT food. I love to get the eggplant in garlic sauce, garlic fried chicken wings(the sauce on fried chicken wings will put you in a food coma!), and the lunch specials that include fried rice and a soup, tastes so good.
