One of the best Wine and Spirits place there is. True, they don’t carry everything, but who does? What they have is picked and chosen for its quality.
Their recommendations have turned out good all the time. The staff is friendly and the wine tasting is great.

Wow! On my personal liquor odyssey I have started with just dabbing my lips with Martel VS around 1995 to going with Black Label Johnny Walker to so on and so forth. From desiring the burn, to smooth and expensive. I have taken a step towards the crossroads of the depths of complex character. AKA Islay Single Malt Whisky. Albeit The Glenlivet 18, Johnny Walker Green Single Malt 15 is a favorite of mine and my recent raves of Bourbon Whiskeys, Angles Envy and Russels Reserve Single Barrel has led me to Ardbeg. «Life is a journey not a destination» JC Wine and Spirits has propelled my taste for liquor to an optimum level. I’ll just keep on going and enjoy the ride.

You’re thinking: It’s just a wine/​liquor store, who cares? Free tastings? Pshh, every wine shop does that!
JC Wine & Spirits is different. The owner (younger Korean man with glasses) is so incredibly friendly. Every time I go in, he has suggestions and honest answers to my questions. At the same time, if you want to just browse, there’s no pestering or hovering going on. I’m pretty sensitive to overbearing store staff, but here I never feel pressured into taking advice or making a purchase.
If I ask about something they don’t carry, he already knows who his supplier would be and when they’re making their next shipment. Once, he phoned one of his suppliers ON THE SPOT because I mentioned I wanted to try a particular champagne, and arranged for a rep to be present for a champagne tasting a couple weeks later.
5pm-​8pm tastings on Fridays/​Saturdays means 10% off those bottles. When there isn’t a tasting going on, they might have an open bottle of something in the back room that they’ll offer you a taste of.
I imagine this is what it’s like to have a really, really good drug dealer.
The owner himself has tried and vetted every single wine sold here (with the exception of the previous owner’s stock… which, granted, is probably gone by now since he took over the shop a year ago). It’s no Astor Wines (
) in terms of inventory, but they deliberately stock within a wide price range, so you can still get a bottle of something you love for under $ 15. The store itself is spotless and bright, and they carry all sorts of liquors as well.
I wish I drank more so I could give them all my money. This is a local business that I’d wholeheartedly go out of my way to support.

I would say this has got to be the nicest small wine and spirits store I’ve ever been to. Hardwood floors, very organized and clean! Free wine tasting by the entrance and helpful employees. They really do acknowledge you and welcome you. They offer high end to lower cost varieties. Don’t expect them to have all the selection though coz this is not a Walmart. Price affordable. I’m really happy I stumbled into the store by accident. Pretty neat place. Definitely recommend and would come back!
