It’s a health club. And it is only one Edward, not Edwards. I agree that frequently machines are broken and take a very long time to be repaired. There have been some changes since last I was here. They brought back the PT area and installed the largest fan, over the machine area, that I have ever seen. They have added more workout gear along the mat area. There is a new area to work with a personal trainer and there are now cubbies to store your jacket so you do not have to walk all the way down to the locker rooms just to hang up your jacket. Lots of classes offered and there are multi purpose rooms along the back by the locker room. It can get really crowded and people do not respect the sign up times for the machines. The parking lot is usually packed.

I wasn’t super impressed with this facility. I took my family in to sign up recently and the person who signed up didn’t offer a tour or an explanation of any of the amenities. The locker rooms and the entire building were very outdated and need major updating. Luckily I get a free membership due to my employment because I’m not sure this place is worth $ 100 a month.

I’ve been going here for about 3 years now and I can honestly say it’s nothing special. First off half the equipment is always broken or way to old and worn out. The price is outrageous! For how much is broken and always being«fixed» we shouldn’t have to pay so much. If they were always buying new machine or adding additions on/improving the place I could justify the payment. the only reason I continue coming back is because I like the people who workout here

It is a very nice gym! They have everything you need. They have excellent classes for all age group. I like how they provide towels and soaps for the showers. A must go!

I’ve been a member since I joined in 1999 when I was pregnant with my now 15 year old son Tyler.(He is also a member) I was able to get 6 free months for having him at Edwards Hospital and they even watched him as an infant for 2 hours per day. That was a great way to get my work out in and spend some quality time to myself why he was looked after by very friendly and trained staff. He now uses it to get his basketball practice in and i still go 4 days a week on my way home from work. I love the Yoga and Toning Classes as well as just working out on the Treadmill, Bike and weight machines. The Staff is very friendly and always say greet you with a smile. Everyone that belongs are very nice people from the area. They have wonderful locker rooms, pools upstairs track and boxing area. Plus the kids zone is completely separate from the adult area. You can sign them in while you work out and they play with other kids. It has many free classes at both Seven Bridges and the Naperville location. Love My Gym! Judy OB — Naperville, IL

Not the most centrally located to my apartment, but considering that there are a ton of 5:30 classes and 7 Bridges is between work and home, I’m making an effort to go to morning classes there a few days a week. Facilities are great, lockers are clean, the yoga studio is really relaxing(with curtains and nice lamps with lampshades and has just a great ambiance), great classes, and when I go at 5:30 it’s nearly empty, so even better!

I’ve been a member at Edwards for 3 years and I absolutely love it! It’s the best fitness center in the area to work out at! I love the indoor track… less wear and tear on my knees. The stretching area is big… unless you go between 5−7pm, you have tons of space for yourself. The cardio equipment with TVs… ample to use and hardly ever weight time during peak hours. The therapy pool is nice and relaxing… sometimes I enjoy the therapy pool more than the jacuzzi… the jacuzzi has jets in the floors and sometimes my feet need them more than other days. The staff is extremely friendly and always smiling. The personal fitness trainers are not overpriced… I’ve signed up for a few sessions and they are really willing to help. Prior to Edwards I would need to force myself to to gym…@ Edwards I’m there 7 days a week! Best of all… I have lost weight and live a healthy lifestyle!!!

I have had memberships to Lifetime, XSport and Charter fitness and this is definitely the best place for me. They have 3 pools, all the latest machines, free weights, classes, punching bags, an indoor track dry and wet sauna’s, full length lockers and towel service. The clientele is on the elderly side, so you don’t get that meat market atmosphere here. I’m 54yo and some there refer to me as the kid.

When the Dude and I saw LivingSocial deals for half-price massages here, we leapt on them. We both tend to be generally achy people and we love, love massages. It helps that this place is within walking distance! I had a great experience with Gorin. He was very professional and I loved his technique. He was able to knock out a knot that I was sure had taken up permanent residence in my left shoulder. The room was the perfect temperature and it was clean and not perfumed(I tend to leave massages smelling like a hippie thanks to all the essential oils that a lot of places use). I was quite sad when my hour was over! When I met my boyfriend in the lobby, he didn’t look as Zen as I did. In fact he looked grumpy. How could that be? Well, it turned out that his massage therapist had kept talking the entire hour despite his efforts to end the conversation.(Like me, he just prefers to zone out other than saying«Yes, the pressure is great!» every so often.) On top of that, she was talking about stressful things — like the job market! Hardly relaxing conversation. Even though we had two very different experiences, I think we’d give it another shot — he’d just ask for a different therapist next time!

I have been taking Pearls Belly Dance classes on Tuesday nights for a couple of years now. I drive all the way from Yorkville just for her! Also the front desk staff is wonderful and they always make me smile:)
