The experience we had at Windmill Farm originally had us concerned for the outcome of our wedding – hence the 4 star rating. We were initially being assisted by Crissi, which resulted in much confusion and frustration due to her inability to communicate with us. Luckily in the last 6 weeks of planning, Kathryn began to help us with the rest of our wedding needs. She really saved our experience. Kathryn is wonderful – helpful, patient, understanding, and professional. She never left an email or phone call unanswered. Our wedding was flawless. The venue was absolutely beautiful. The food from Black Pine Catering was amazing. We have had endless compliments from our guests. We absolutely love how our day turned out. What an amazing venue! They made our special do go so smoothly! We had a wonderful time. Most our wedding guest could not stop talking about how beautiful the site was! We also went with their catering, Black Pine Catering. We picked the BBQ menu. The guest also said that’s one of the best wedding dinners ever! Everything about it was truly wonderful! They are very good at working out all the special details to make your wedding day stress free!

Kathryn did such a wonderful job taking over completely on the big day — it was so valuable to have her there keeping us on our schedule while my groom and I were able to let ourselves get fully swept up in the spirit of the day. We enjoyed our wedding day SO much and there was zero stress, only joy and love and lots of fun.

I celebrated my wedding at WMV two weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier! The venue looked absolutely beautiful. The venue is very rustic but is so big you can transform the location to whatever you want. When driving up to the venue just outside of Woodland, you almost feel like you are driving through vineyards in Napa. There isn’t much shade, but our ceremony was at 5pm and we provided parasols for guests, by the time dinner was ready the sun was setting. The on site caterer is amazing! They bbq’d all the food on site and as guests arrived they could all smell the food. We received so many compliments from people, our guests can’t stop talking about the delicious food. The event company is open to creating any wedding experience and were so easy to work with.

We had a ceremony and reception here recently and it was fabulous. The venue is beautiful and the in-​house caterer, Yolo Eats, was great. This is a newer venue, but they really have it together and everyone reaps the benefits.
