Therapy Spa

The owner is no longer there. I can’t speak to the customer service now. I’m not a big fan. I no longer go there. I now go to a place closer to my home.

If I could give negative stars I would. So I brought a groupon deal for this place. Called to make the appointment, they picked up the phone and never said the company name. Had an odd conversation with a Jennifer and got a 630 appointment. Arrived to find a messy low frills salon with furniture that didn’t match and was dirty looking. The pedicure seats did not vibrate. The back room was dark but you could see someone sleeping. professional but I had no choice had an event the next day and new a good salon would not be able to take me so late.
So Jen told me to move to the chair and blocked the seat so I could not sit down, then once full told me to get in. Got in to boiling hot water which I could not put my feet in. She told me she didn’t know how to use the machine. Attempted to fix it but didn’t so I had to sit in an uncomfortable tub of hot water taking my feet out every few seconds. She then took my nail polish off my toes about 80 percentage of the way and got up.
The one other customer in the place was now done so a woman named Laura took over. Jen then awkwardly stood next to us doing nothing but standing and watching. Still don’t know her purpose. Asked her what time the hair salon in the back was opened she told me don’t know I only do this. I guess she doesn’t notice people and lights on three feet from her.
Tools were used on my feet and taken from a tray and put back there I can only hope after the fact they were cleaned before hand. In the time I was there by the way no cleaning was done. Not even throwing out garbage before they started leaving.
Laura continued to work on my feet now doing my nails in the same chair in midair. My husband was with me and brought me coffee from across the street just in time for jens show. Jen two feet from me and Laura still the only one working decided to start to adjust her fly for several minutes. My husband now leaving the salon laughing, I of course looked at her and she contined a task she revisited later on.
Now time for the eye brow wax still Laura the only one working she brought me over to a chair which we did it in midair. No mirror no cream no twizzers. Never again.
Time for the dryers waiting for my husband to return I sit down in the non matching seats the previous customer sat in. The machine which I previous heard Jen tell customer number 1 she didn’t know how to start was started by Laura.
After sitting for two seconds the sleeping woman came in and brushed her teeth in a sink two feet from me. Classy. This must of been the owner as she demanded my voucher and at that moment I began to notice Jen standing there with her bag. The owner or sleeping women now demanded I leave a tip and I said yes I will to Laura the person how took care of me. They then insisted both women get a tip. I gave the rude Jen 4 bucks out of pity because she did nothing and then tipped Laura because she did everything.
During this shack down with no concern for my wet nails once my wallet was out they actually took it from me and started pulling money out. Very rude and very aggressive.
The best part after demanding these tips the sleeping woman told me not to go to groupon again come directly to them and they would charge me the same. I was beside myself that they thought I would come back.
The manicure did not last 48 hours but at least my husband and I will laugh each time we pass.

So I bought a groupon and decided to pamper myself after a long day of work for a mani pedi and 10min foot massage, first off the place is disgusting and old fashion 2. there very rude
foot msg wasn’t even 10min and she just rubbed a rock on my leg for 3 min 4. She hurt my feet and made me bleed from my toes 5. She did my feet without looking at my feet 6. When it came to pay I didn’t even get to put away my phone and she asked for a tip so fast … SAVE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE AND GO TO ANGEL TIPS IN CLIFTON! This place is a rip off && there’s a huge sign outside that says 19 $ mani — pedi WASTEEE

Terrible. Do not waste your money. Rude owner plus they do not bother with a/​c. They use fans. Their pedicure chairs don’t work. Worst experience.

This is a two part review
First part is for the skin aesthetician. She gets 4 stars. I got a groupon for an LED/​Microdermabrasion. She is very good, very friendly. She rents out a space towards the back of the salon and her area is very neat and clean and she does a good job. I would say, similar service to the facials you get in Chinatown. Place is nothing fancy (no robes, no spa music), but the place is clean and they give your pores a good scrub for a good price.
Second part is for the nail salon in the front of the store. I needed to get a mani/​pedi and thought it would be convenient to get at the same place I was getting a facial and kill two birds at once. But after walking through the area (at 10am I might add before the nail salon was officially open) and using their washroom. The place is filthy. Food containers were left near the nail tables from the day before. The place was just disgusting. So I could just imagine how their tools are not kept sanitized. I decided not to have my nails done at this place base on what I saw.

Well the place is disgusting. Ants crawling all over chairs, floor. Ants were crawling all over my daughter and I when we went there. Bought a group on for $ 49 dollars for two mani/pedi’s yet the window sign says mani/​pedi $ 19. This place is a rip off. I want my money back from Groupon. We are now hoping that we don’t get infections from this pig pen. DISGUSTING. DO NOT GO THERE

Terrible experience. I came in because I purchased a groupon, 2 mani and pedis and a foot massage for 50 $. First sign of my bad experience is that there is a huge sign on the window that said mani + pedi– $ 19.
Walk in and had made an appointment but the woman had booked me for the wrong day so she said we had to wait for an hour and a half.
Our pedicures were rushed and I’m going to end up returning the groupon because it was a rip off
I would never come here again. There are only two people working and the place is dirty looking. Save your money and go somewhere else.
