Closet grocery store to my parent’s place. They may not always have the cheapest stuff, but I’d say it was comparable to nearby local chain markets and it being within a mile distance makes it worth the few extra cents you may pay on items. I remember when this place required a club card to purchase anything(it was a free club card, but annoying nonetheless); glad they did away with that. The interior is nice and organized, a good produce section up front. Aisles are wide enough to push a cart through. Lines at checkout can get long but they move pretty quick. Cashiers have always been friendly. Located in a small strip mall with The Habit, Jersey Mikes, Dominos, Yogurtland, etc., the parking situation can get a little hairy, especially at lunch time on weekends. I’ve never had to resort to parking on the street or just leaving in general because of lack of parking though. Cars are constantly coming and going. Overall a convenient neighborhood grocery store.

This is my go to for on the fly gotta get it quick, and cheap place for restocking the pantry. Been a regular patron for about 10 years, and live about 3 minutes from there. Best deals on chicken, and bacon, bulk cheese, butter, yogurt, bread, and cooking oil. Friendly enough staff, and always willing to answer question about were to locate items, and open check out counter as soon as there are more than 4 people in line.

Came for the first time tonight to get some dog food. Its a very small location in strip mall, but had what I needed. Service was decent, and prices are good. Parking lot is quite small. If in the area, I would go again.

Great Place to shop and the parking is usually vacant. They are like a mini Costco. really mini. But still they have almost anything a supermarket has. Just give it four stars because they need to have more registers open.

The manager and personal where very helpful and they did not give me grief when I brought in recycled soda bottles. They also had great prices on their produce. This smart and final is much better and cleaner than the other ones in the valley that I have visited.

Looks like the staff /service at this location has gotten better! Parking is not too good because of all the other businesses, especially around lunch time. Go early or late. This store is well organized and always very clean. I recommend this location…

Don’t go there if you are in a hurry! They always have only one register open and they are really really really slow! I went there a few times and just left because only one lane was open. 10 people were waiting to pay! They really need to do something about that they are loosing ton of customers and $.

Very unhappy right now! Yesterday, I went to S&F and Stephanie at register 6 double ran my card! I now have two charges of $ 150(150×2=300)!!! I called the store and spoke to the manager and he «claims» that my card was ran through once and it was the«banks error» that they considered it a double charge. I called the bank and they said«no it looks like they entered the charge two times»… I now have to file a dispute, get a negative hit on my credit just for Smart & Final’s screw up. So annoyed right now! Next time, I’m bringing cash. Also, their website did not let me clip coupons. I hate companies that don’t make allow their shoppers to «save» money… ugh. I wish I lived closer to Porter Ranch location! They have not screwed up ONCE in all the times I’ve gone there. What a mess! Checker obviously was not happy working there. Not once did she ask anyone how was their day or even greet them. Moody and inattentive clerk! Very much dislike!

Shop there at least once a week. Great deals and prices. They always have exactly what I need and if it’s not on the shelf, they’ll get it for me.

I like Smart & Final because it’s close to home so when I need something or get a craving it’s a block away. The prices and selections are ok, there’s no bakery, meat department or deli so most stuff there is pre-packaged which is why I don’t look to them for regular grocery needs. Staff is nice and they’re open til 10 every night so it’s alright with me.

One of the nicest & cleanest Smart n Finals in the valley! Always friendly staff! Parking can get hairy because if the two eateries in the same center, but other than that… A great place to shop!

I just don’t come here often enough! I gotta stop driving over to our dumpy Costco and come here on a more regular basis. It’s more like a store than a cold warehouse and you can actually find staff here! I’ve gotta ditto what Derrick E says below… the meats here are spot on and they have the best selection with good prices. If you need a huge chunk of pork or beef for a party, this is the place! Additionally, their produce section is huge and very fresh. I should come here just for that alone! Anyway, ’nuff said, this place rocks!

Not quite Costco-worthy, but it will do. I always find great options and bargains at Smart & Final. Not sure why I don’t just always shop there. The one downside to this location is the parking lot. There’s a Habit and Jersey Mike’s so at meal times, it can be challenging to find a parking space.

Not bad. They have this AMAZING garlic cheese here… which I must have. It’s soooo tasty! They also still have the restaurant supplies here… which is helpful… if you’re looking for packaging or whatnot. Prices aren’t bad… although since they’ve remodeled the store… the prices have gone up somewhat. I don’t know… you obviously need to shop around and can’t do all your shopping at one store. This place isn’t bad. On a side note: The cashier lady is always telling me how much I look like my mom. hahaha. To which I laugh… we do have the same mannerisms.

I shop at this store every so often and I’ve never really had any issues. My shopping experience has always been pleasant. That is, until today. Went in to get stuff, paid, and was leaving a happy customer. However when I was leaving I noticed that the chicken breasts that I purchased were on sale so naturally, I decided to go back for more. BIGMISTAKE! Not only did I have to wait in that dreaded line of theirs again(I hate S&F’s lines, I seriously do), but I had the misfortune of being rang up by the inept ASSistant Manager Robert P. Not only did he not know what the heck he was doing, but he only applied the discount to one of the packs but not the other 2. When I pointed out that they were ALL on sale, he ignored me and still refused to ring up the other 2 packs w/the discount. WTF? Instead of walking his rude A$$ to where the packs were shelved to verify the price, he just said he couldn’t give the discount on the other 2 packs and that was that. By this point, not only had another cashier come over to assist him(a cashier that he was treating like sh*t btw), but he was still being a total unreceptive jerk. I was thinking«This is the assistant manager of the store, are you kidding me?!» The man is rude, disrespectful, condescending, arrogant, and clearly has no people skills. Instead of fixing the situation as a manager is supposed to, he decides to have a stare-down with me instead, LOL… how ridiculous! Did he think I would be intimidated?! Not THIS girl! This man has no business running a store, that’s for sure. He doesn’t know the first thing about treating employees or customers with dignity & respect. I called and spoke to David, the store manager and he said he will speak to him. We’ll see if it does any good. I doubt it. In the meantime, I’ll be going to my neighborhood smart & final instead, where customers get treated with the respect they deserve.

Huge store. Somewhat of a good selection of items. Lighting is impeccable. Prices could be more competitive. Just sayin’
