This is a great place with a huge selection. When I was running late, I called ahead and told the sales rep I spoke to that I wanted a crisp white wine — when I got there, he had three pulled out, ready to go, and when I arrived, he had detailed reviews and descriptions of each. I only needed one bottle, but bought all three because each one sounded amazing. They also have some obscure stuff, my husband and I were looking for a certain wine we’d had on our honeymoon and that’s how we found this place. We bought that ½ bottle and many more since then.

Ordered on Monday and came very next day! I am so impressed with the delivery and prices of all the wines here. I love that the online store is just as easy as walking in and getting what you want. I ordered about 10 bottles and they all came nicely packaged and put together!
I cannot wait to return back here and hopefully visit the store soon!

They got the good wine. The kind you’re having trouble finding. Fair prices, knowledgable and friendly staff, quick service (and no waiting for that order to arrive from the Internet subjecting the bottle to god knows what). Most importantly, they’re passionate about wine and have great taste which is apparent in their selection (particularly the French selection).

I went to WHWC to pick up a wine to cook with and another bottle for a house-​warming gift.
The gentleman that helped me was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and the shop had a wonderful selection at a variety of price points.
I would definitely go back and recommend this shop to others!

Although the selection is amazing the staff are not. Yesterday was my 3rd bist to the store. The first 2 times the staff wasn’t overly friendly but at least they acknowledged me and asked if I needed help. Yesterday my friend and I were literally in the store for 15 – 20 minutes and not a word from anyone tgat worked there. Very unprofessional. I will not go back!

I recently stopped into this store. I was patiently waiting by the register while to clerk carried on his conversation with a customer. He did not even look up to acknowledge me. The customer finally said he thought I needed help. The clerk still did not even look up at me and told the other customer «yeah I’ll get to her». I have to say that in my book that is a zero level customer service. How about «I’ll be right with you». Luckily another clerk came along and helped me. I most definitely won’t be giving my business to a place that treats people that way.

This is a great store stocked full of rows and rows of wine! They have refrigerated wine as well along several sides of the store.
If you are looking for something in particular this is the place to go!
The staff is also very knowledgeable about the wine in the store and can help you find great wine if you ask! They offer unique wines to fit any budget!
I have enjoyed all my recommendations and not all have been pricy!
A wine tasting bar is located in the corner of the store too!

This is a great neighborhood wine store if you’re looking for something that BevMo or Total Wine doesn’t have.
We were looking for Miraval and BevMo didn’t have it so we checked online to see if Woodland Hills Wine company had it. Their online stock said that they had 12 in the store so we went over and saw 2 immediately in the cooler. It was a super easy in and out trip.
I’m reading a few reviews where it says the customer service is lacking here. I’m not sure I agree with that 100%. When we walked in, no one greeted us, but we were also clearly on a mission. It’s not a gigantic retail store and nobody’s going to greet you at the door bombarding you to see if you need help. It’s a boutique store and if you need help I would recommend just asking.

I’m reviewing my online purchase experience. When you order online, they do not even ask if they should ship in 1 or multiple shipments. If some of the wines are not in stock, they decide, at their discretion, to ship in multiple shipments and charge you extra for the second shipment, even if the original order total is over $ 200. They ship for free at $ 200, so this is a trick to get you to order more than you originally purchased. Either pay up the $ 13+ for the additional shipment or spend more to get to the $ 200.

This is a great store for wine and spirits. The clerks have a good knowledge and helped me with my selection this last weekend and it was a HIT. My boyfriend has been coming here for years, but I’ve only been a handful of times, mostly with him so I didn’t ask for help. The clerks here are friendly and knowledgable and the store has a HUGE selection of wine and spirits. Something for ever palate.

Thousand Oaks, CA
This is a very cool store that focuses on quality wines from all over the world. One important thing to take into account is that the majority of the selections were actually tasted by a professional before being bought, unlike chain stores. The selection is huge and you can find older vintages of great wines ready to drink in the near term; not just collectible wines you have to cellar 10 years yourself.
My favorite wines are Champagnes and I must strongly disagree with someone who said their selection is lacking – it is far better than Total Wine with probably upwards of 100 choices with great prices; some even advertised as the lowest price in the country. True champagne is usually pricey but you can find 20 options here for under $ 40 per bottle and the staff is great at recommending labels if you explain to them what you are looking for as far as flavor profile. Happy hunting.
