Don’t miss this great neighborhood bar in the West Valley. On the Blvd just before West Hills. Elizabeth behind the bar is amazing.

I undoubtedly end up here every time i’m in LA. the drinks are cheap, its fun to play pool, and sometimes they have a DJ. minus one star for a peg dart board :(boo! parking is super easy, but this place is easy to miss. make sure you have your GPS on I also love the holiday decorations. keep it up

Sometimes, you just gotta kick it in Woodland Hills. Because that’s where the partay is at. If you find yourself in this twilight zone of an experience, The Wild should be your dive bar of choice. This dive bar knows punk rock, or at least their jukebox does. The Dead Boys? Check. Dropkick Murphys and NOFX? Yup. Someone playing jazz? Pshh, unplug that jukebox and restart it! the bartenders will demand. Because they’re that hardcore. The girls are very friendly and the drinks are good. For your pleasures, they have Golden Tee Golf, Darts, and a Pool table. Triple threat combo. Why am I even typing this, it’s the 4th of July and it’s time to celebrate America at The Wild. See you in Woodland Hills.

I was surprised to see the review that calls this place«dangerous for women», but I’ve also never been here alone or without guy friends. I like The Wild for what it is: a dark, out of the way dive when you just don’t want to go to the Canoga Park/Woodland Hills regular spots(i.e. Pickwick’s, Scotland Yard… is there another one?) I’ve only been served by the blonde owner/bartender — or at least I think she’s the owner — who has always been really cool and welcoming. Never had to wait for a game of pool, the other patrons are made up of interesting characters, and the prices are low. Not too shabby.

Yes, Dark and Dingy… But this is what a dive bar should be … !!! I’ve always come here with mates… And always whilst being somewhat tipsy…(So I donno if that’s why I like it here. Cuz I never noticed anything too dodgy round here…) They were playing loqads of old school metal, which always tickles my fancy… Can’t remember how much I paid for the drinks… ‘Cuz we were at Scotland Yard before… Hmmmmm… Anyways, will not hesitate to come back for laugh… Cheers

In this great metropolis of a city, Los Angeles, if you find yourself in Woodland Hills, stop by The Wild. I found myself at the bowling alley just down the street, and I was looking for a place that would welcome a guy like me, an unpretentious, under-dressed, and already buzzed young man. I read the reviews, and found that they were not very favorable, but it’s the valley, so I figured it couldn’t be too seedy or dangerous. Plus, most of the reviews were a year old or so, and things change. I stepped into a gem of a dive bar. The Kings were on two tv’s, one if which had some serious screen burns. The bartender, Kenny, was on top of his game and treated his customers well. He served up the drinks with a quickness and carried a pleasant demeanor. The patrons were an eclectic group of surfers, washouts, and blue collared workers. They were all having a good time, and that kind of thing rubs off. It was a Monday, so I didn’t expect a parade of women. It’s a good thing, because there were too few to mention. Kenny swears that Friday and Saturday are pretty«wild», but on Monday, you can just relax in this dive of a bar. The call drinks set me back about $ 20 with a tip. Icant vouch for the mix drink quality, but no one seemed to complain about the beers or their drinks. A dive bar in all of its glory… If it were closer, I might be there all of the time! But like someone else said, if you’re in the neighborhood, check it out.

I’m not sure as to why this places exists exactly. I guess the mini/half pitcher of Bud Light is a good deal at around $ 5, but it kinda tastes like my dog’s rancid egg farts, so that negates it. While there aren’t that great of alternatives around, it makes you appreciate them that much more after going here. So maybe it’s worth coming just for that. Oh and I heard a Slipknot song for the first time since high school.

The only star is for the people watching. I am definitely entertained by the euro centric social grouping of ignorant tools. Over priced, small, and the pool table is off balance.

Can be fun at times when people aren’t picking fights. The Wild can also be a tough bar where the bartender wears skimpy outfits and asks if you want all your drinks«chilled»(aka watered down).

Might as well be called«The Eccentric.» Pros: Really great theming; skulls, plants, tiki stuff, plastic butcher sheeting for the door. Eccentric bartenders; mine had a 2 foot mohawk. Average priced drinks. Cons: Other than the superficial look, it’s just an average bar. Not many beers on tap, regular selection of alcohol. Music didn’t grab me. There was one pool table, but no real entertainment. I’d stop by if I were in the area.

Memories of the day I turned 21… This was where I used my training wheels. I would say this place is Cheers meets the African Safari. Mixed type of crowd, a different crowd at different times. This place certainly is not the place that it was almost 6 years ago. I stop by every once in a while but never late at night. After the robbery(Customers robbed too) I am weary of the night time. They often have free food during the week & on Sundays.

I came here on a Friday night with my girl. There was a mix of people there from young guys, old guy, cougars, and young drunk girls trying to turn the place into a dance club. There are two pool tables and an electronic dart board that doesn’t work. We wanted Dirty drinks, but they were all out of olives! Boo =( Everyone here is real nice. The bartender came over to us and introduced herself to us. None of the guys were too sleezy, a couple of grandpas played pool with us and bought us drinks, then invited us back for cocktails… uhhhm, no thanks. Anyway, I’d go back to this little dive bar again. It was nice. You might even see some celebrities like we did ;)

A great old dive bar in Woodland Hills. On weekends they have some pretty decent bands, usually playing classic rock. Pool table, a dart board, all packed into the space the size of a rich man’s living room. The bartenders are super friendly and actually make some decent drinks, considering what a hole it is. But that it’s a hole is much of its charm. Minus one point for nixing smoking inside, but obviously that’s not their fault. But seriously, what the hell is a dive bar without the choking grip of vaporized carcinogens? Damn gubmint…
