I originally found Jessica on a whim while searching through
. I frequently go out to parties and attend different events and I wanted to find an amazing hair and makeup artist that would come to my home for a reasonable fee. Before Jessica, I had tried out a ton of different vendors and their work was less than impressive. Jessica has been doing my hair and makeup now for about 1 year and she never fails to impress. She is extremely versatile and if I’m looking to achieve a specific look, she always nails it. I’m getting married next month and I chose Jessica to do my hair and makeup for what will be the most important event so far in my life.
In addition to being a fantastic hair and makeup artist, Jessica is just an absolute pleasure to be around. It’s also amazing, that in LA (a place that’s known for unreliable and flakey people) Jessica is always on time, if not 5 minutes early.
I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a versatile, talented, and accomplished hair and makeup artist in the LA area.

I was real surprised when I Unilocaled for Jessica after she had done the make up for my sister’s wedding, that no one has reviewed for her here. Considering Jessica’s resume and extensive experience with make up, I figured she would have a lot of Unilocal reviews, but I am happy to be the first.
I’m not quite sure how my sister found Jessica in the numerous make up artists in the wedding industry, but I’m sure glad she found her. My sister is more of the conservative type for make up and really wanted someone that would not go too extravagant. When we first met Jessica for the make up trial, Jessica was real sweet and very open. She really translated well with make up what my sister had asked for. She gave some tips and advice on skin care and other things to prepare for prior to the wedding. One perk with Jessica is that she gives free make up trials. Looking for the right make up artist for a big day like a wedding can be it’s own budget, so this was nice of Jessica.
On the day of the wedding, Jessica was nothing short of professional. Not only did she do eveyone’s make up, and then some, but she was helpful to other tasks my sister wanted done, regardless if it wasn’t in her job description. The whole bridal party thought Jessica was real nice and very helpful in picking out a look that really flattered the person. Hope there is another wedding soon that we can use Jessica!
