Food is okay. Bad customer service and rude employees. You feel pressure to hurry up when you order. And they don’t smile.

This place blows. Glad it is on campus but the employees don’t care at all about service. Most of the time takes 15−20+ minutes. Avoid.

I stop for buying a coffee when I went through this coffee restaurant, I ordered espresso for me and latte for my friend, unfortunate the service wasn’t that good specially because the woman who I bought from her was rude, she didn’t even smile, I felt like she wants me to pay and go, specially because I was thinking what to order and it took me a few seconds. The espresso wasn’t good at all, my friend told me that the latte wasn’t that bad but not the best he has ever tried. At least the maffin was good.

I was doing my professor a favor and getting her tea during our break. The person who rang me up was so rude! Her name was Regina I think. She didn’t even bother to put on a fake smile and you could tell she was annoyed and didn’t wanna be there… I’m just glad I didn’t have to spend my own money there.

Not the best coffee but even a bad espresso shot beats drip coffee any day of the week. Plus the nearest starbucks requires me to drive and sometimes I’m just not feeling it. The price is what you’d expect at any café and the service is so-so. Not much of a surprise either as it is staffed by students. You should probably tell them to relax it on the steam wand. My milk was burnt to an oblivion. The place really deserves 2 stars but it’s the only place on the campus that has«accwptable» coffee.

Coffee is awful as well as the crafted beverages. Pizza is nauseating. I ordered waffles here, and I was told they may not have butter but she could not confirm by taking two steps to the back to check. Kinda weird to me. So I was left to wonder if I would get what I ordered. When I finally got them(12 minutes) after my order, they were cold and alas had no butter. I know it’s on campus, but that doesn’t mean that there shouldn’t be standards in place. Only eat here when there is no other option.

Decent regular coffee, awful espresso. Chai is too sweet. Pizza is passable. I like the wifi, though.

Plenty of meat in the turkey panini. But kraft singles cheese?! Not for $ 5. I was able to see the kid go through the process of making my sandwich, it’s cold! How do you screw up pressing a panini. Not cool…

Freudian Sip is a café on Pierce College campus that has snacks, coffee and breakfast items. I’ve been here a few times and never had their breakfast sandwiches until a few days ago. I had the combo 2 on an english muffin which was pretty good for a microwaved sandwich. Their iced lattes aren’t bad either, even though the espresso taste isn’t that strong. Pricing is decent as well. It’s terribly hot inside though, which is nice when it’s freezing outside but not with sunny California weather. The people behind the counter are friendly and give service with a smile. All and all, a decent place to get something to eat for breakfast on campus if you have an early morning class.

OK, the pastries are delicious and very cheap… but this is a coffee place, right? When I asked them where their espresso beans came from, the«barista» informed me how an «expresso» bean was roasted. I just did a face-palm and ordered a coffee– which was just as bad as I expected it to be. Also– they have a terrible selection of tea.

You know, I like this place. The pastry case is huge. I haven’t had anything from it… but it sure looks impressive. Wow! They have a number of computer you can use to access the net. Nice. The drink case has more varieties of Monster Java than I have ever seen anywhere. Fantastic! But then I said to myself, «Self, you mustn’t rate a coffee shop on their pre-packaged foods! Go to the bar!» Indeed, that is what I did. I asked them for a medium chai latte. I was up, with milk steaming, in seriously 1 minute flat. Color me impressed. The chai was unique. Not coffee bean, not Starbucks, not Oregon… something wholly different. Good spices, somewhat musky, not offensive. So why the 3 stars? Well, the computers are crappy windows boxes with weird mice and I still haven’t tried the espresso. For next time!
