Ask for Dina when you call. She does a great job. I have 3 cowlicks that make my hair difficult to cut but Dina handled them fantastically. She cut my hair just as I requested and for only $ 24. I used to go to Kriza Aveda in the Topanga Mall and paid $ 56 for the same quality cut until my stylist was fired. Unfortunate for him, but good for me. I save $ 32 per cut. Great deal. She takes appts too which is convenient.

Dina is wonderful. I texted from out of town since her shop was near the hotel Where I would stay. She gave me a beautiful cut and blow dry. I wish I could go to her shop again, but I live in the east coast and it is impossible. If you live in the area, check it out (the shop is in a sleepy, tired mall, but give Dina a try).

Dina did my hair, and I love the result. I went in for a trim and deep conditioning, and was greeted promptly. They weren’t super busy since it’s a Monday, so she was able to accommodate me.
It ended up costing about $ 40, which is more than reasonable for the area.

Nooooo stars! This place is extremely unprofessional. I called for an appointment to get my hair braided and the owner relayed to the stylist what I wanted done. We spoke 3 times on the phone before I came in explaining what I wanted done and making sure she could do it. When I arrived for my appointment I was turned down — the lady «couldn’t» and even refused to attempts BRAIDING my hair. I’m sorry this is a hair salon that can’t perform simple tasks and is completely unprofessional about it on top of it. No sorrys no references on where else to go. Worst customer service I’ve experienced to the point this is my first ever bad review I’ve ever posted !!!

I’m a new customer at Dina’s Salon and I gotta say I love this place! I always get a blowout and I’m more than satisfied with my look. My entire family (3 sisters and mom) have been seeing Dina for years. Previously of Total Look, Ken and Dina have dissolved partnership. The old phone number goes to Ken and he was vague about Dina. Chance walk by at the original location and she was here! I have difficult thick hair to control and very, very long. Dina excels at long layers and bangs. She does not take short cuts and doesn’t hurry the cut. All for an extremely affordable price where other salons will charge over 100 for my cut and straighten, Dina charges less than half! Very loyal customer. Very pleased with her services. Btw, new number is (818) 888‑3109.

I have been going to Dina to get my hair done for over 3 years now and she is simply amazing. She is the only one I trust with my hair. Although I attend school in Berkeley, I always make the trip out to Dina’s Salon because she really is fantastic at what she does. The atmosphere of the salon is very bright and positive. It is so obvious that everyone who works here loves what they do. Whenever I make an appointment I know that Dina will try her best to give me a time that is convenient. Dina is the best.
