HORRIBLE! I ordered the picnic with1 pound of the brisket and a ½ rack of pork ribs costing $ 51 and it was crappy. The brisket was cut with the grain, was very fatty and looked as if I got their garbage pieces. The pork ribs were fatty as well. I am so disappointed in this location. I have gone to another location which was much better.

Nice people… But everything from my salad to my chicken nuggets, to my potato tasted like bacon. Disappointed

This place is great on a Sunday afternoon: lemme tell you why. The people are real, the food is no bs, delicious southern BBQ. You make your order, grab a drink and sit down at their cut picnic tableclothed booths. There is sports on tv for the men and just a relaxed atmosphere. Joey, the head manager, is a sweetheart. This was my first time in and he treated us like friends. He gave me a sampling of waffle iron fries because I couldn’t pick between two sides.(The fries are fantastic as is the Mac and cheese, green beans and baked beans but totally go for the onion tanglers!) The pulled pork is out of this world. There’s three levels of spice and sweet to choose from in their BBQ sauces so you can customize to your needs. It’s simple but exceptional BBQ. I’m coming back. Plus now I have a huge yellow cup handy around the house as a reminder. Oh, and there’s free vanilla soft serve. Free. Vanilla. Soft serve. If I wasn’t so full I would’ve made it a bigger pour but a little cone was perfect at the end of a sumptuous meal. You will not be disappointed. We’ll be back Joey! Thanks for the lovely time!

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. I came into the Woodland Hills Dickeys today to take advantage of the much publicized $ 1 pulled pork slider promotion. I was told that this store isn’t taking part in that promotion. This will be my last time visiting this location. A much as I like Dickeys and as happy as I was when I found out one was opening in my neighborhood last year, I will no longer continue to spend my hard earned money at an establishment that has no concern for their customers. This is not the first time I’ve seen tempting commercials with great value on tv on to come into the Woodland Hills location and leave disappointed. This place just smells of greed. Farewell Woodland Hills Dickeys, we don’t need your kind in our neighborhood. Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees.

The boyfriend and I really wanted some barbecue tonight for dinner. We decided on Dickeys, and we couldn’t be happier. The food is delicious and the employees are really mellow and friendly. There’s 2 televisions and you get free ice cream after :) we’ll definitely be coming back.

I’m so stoked I found this place! For weeks I kept passing by with my windows down, and you can tell a bbq place is great from the smell from outside. I finally got in here, one of the warmest welcomes, great tasting food– I had the Big Western meal with bbq beans and potato casserole(loaded mash potatoes). Everything was on point! Great food and great service! I’ll def be back! Thanks again guys!

The service is amazing, the location is super clean, and the family food packages price the same as Stone Fire Grill. For a family of 4 – 6 expect to pay between $ 60 – 80 for 3 types of protein two sides and drinks. The Roast and pulled pork are moist and tender. The chicken and ham are moist when it first comes out, but beware the later in the evening you go both the Chicken and Ham starts to get dry. Overall it a wonder experience with seating indoors and out doors. Unlike most locations you can grab as much BBQ sauce you need. There are three different types to select from. Two thumbs up.

We stopped in here late one night, and had AMAZING service! The people working there were so friendly, and really helped us to pick the best choice for someone who was craving something filled with smoky goodness. Since it was our first visit, I don’t have much to compare it with, but I will say that we really liked the tenderness of the BBQ and that it wasn’t covered with tons of sticky sauce. I suppose we’re more into«dry» BBQ than the heavily sauced stuff. I think he had the pulled pork sandwich and since it was gone in less than a couple minutes-he enjoyed it! I liked the coleslaw, but had the caesar salad.(Yeah, I’m a saladasaurus… I know, boring ;)) Salad was OK, but nothing earthshattering. I think next time I’ll at least try the chicken!!! Thanks all, we’ll definitely be back!

As a former BBQ chef, I take my smoked meats seriously. I’d like to say that I am happy this exceeded my expectations. My brisket was perfectly cooked, not dry at all. Nice and smokey, without being dry. Got mac and cheese, and was suggested the mashed potatoes. Anything with bacon makes my day… sp mashed were gpod as was the mac n cheese. Nothing super special but both were good representation of what they should be. Ill definitely stop in again.

Recently had a party catered by Dickeys. The food was much better than my first experience. The jalapeño beans are awesome. Pulled pork was tender and had a nice smoked flavor and fresh baked rolls to make sliders. Relish tray was a nice accent. Ribs are dry rubbed with a great seasoning, very tender. You will enjoy these ribs. 3BBQ sauces are offered regular, sweet and spicy each is delicious. Mac and cheese is always a good thing. The Coleslaw was crisp but still just ok. The service is always great, very friendly and helpful.

The staff working on Friday night(11⁄7) were awesome. The food was very good and reasonably priced. They have sweet tea, fun yellow cups, cute décor and free ice cream cones! Our food could have been a bit warmer and if I could add anything to the menu it would be cornbread and collard greens. I would highly recommend this place, definitely the best BBQ and service on the block!

What a great place to enjoy some excellent BBQ food. I was in the west valley and craving some BBQ. As I noticed that Dickey’s BBQ just opened. If you are a person who really loves old fashion BBQ then you are in for a real treat. The menu is pretty big. So you have a lot to select from. You must try the meat plate as it will enjoy every bite of the ribs. If you are a person who loves sausage you are in heaven. They have several kinds of sausages that is a must. One is the spicy cheddar sausage with bursting with jalapeño or the Polish sausage. If you are craving pork you will be in for a real treat. If you are craving a salad you must try smokehouse salad or the chicken Caesar salad. They also have great sandwich for the lite eater. All the staff here are super friendly with a smile. This location has plenty private lot parking and street parking.

First off, the service we received last night from the staff for our first visit was outstanding. They offered a sample of their Spicy Cheddar Sausage when we questioned the product and the entire staff went out of their way to make sure that our visit was a good one. The owner was out and about to talk to each customer. Now on to the food. I ordered the 3 meat plate with double ribs and the brisket with mac n cheese and slaw, and my wife ordered the brisket with the polish sausage with the caesar salad and the potato casserole. Unfortunately both my ribs and brisket were too fatty for my taste. There was a good smoke on the meat with was nice. The slices of brisket where not remotely constant, it was like it was pulled of the meat. The mac n cheese was not very flavorful and the slaw was good. My wife said her brisket was fatty also and the sides were just OK. I do like the soft serve, but they were having issues with the machine at the end of the night and my attempt at the soft serve was better than my wive’s. The prices aren’t bad, but for a little more I would go to Woodranch.

5 stars for service 5 stars for food Owners/Management & staff really make a difference here. The food portions are large do two can share. The meat was very tender and I preferred the spicy sauce. Make sure to save room for a free soft serve cone when your through!

First time here and expected a bit more for the price we paid. Arrived during lunch time and surprisingly there was no line, I guess I should of taking it as a hint. Ordered a 3 meat plate(picture attached) Ribs were very dry and stale probably spent a few days in their warmer. Brisket was sliced along the grain so it wasn’t edible. Pulled pork was OK not too dry but no flavor at all. Asked to speak to a manager to address these issues but was told the manager is out doing catering. Save your money and time and eat somewhere else.
